There isn't much to say: it really is one of the best pizzerias in Catania. Special flavors with studied combinations: praise to the staff who also recommended valid alternatives when they realized that we hadn't noticed we were about to order a very spicy pizza! Reservations are required: we went on a Tuesday (with reservations) and still waited a few minutes for a table, with the queue stretching outside.

Definitely one of the best pizzerias in the Catania scene. Welcoming and warm environment, with the typical ancient vaults in exposed red bricks. There is a truly pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service, staff attentive to our daughter and very helpful. Excellent pizza, we spent the night without turning over in bed as happens in other pizzerias. Very high quality ingredients. Excellent experience overall apart from only two aspects in my opinion that need improvement: Regarding the pizza, I expected a more honeycombed dough and a less "doughy" edge. Regarding the room, however, just a few fewer tables would be an extra breath of air, especially at the entrance which creates a traffic jam between payment and the people entering, but it should be noted that it was Sunday evening at the center of the service. Price in line with the product and service offered, around €20-25 per person with chips and water

Hands down one of the best pizzerias in Catania for many years. Famous even before, when the restaurant was located in Aci Castello. Large and well-curated menu, including pizzas, meat, sandwiches and salads, there is something for all tastes and needs. Acido Lattico is the place that brings everyone together whenever you are looking for a place for a group dinner. The service is friendly and diligent, the owner always present. Takeaway and home delivery work well. Although they are very famous for their pizza, I also highly recommend their sandwiches. Desserts are not their strong point, but always appreciated. It is also one of the reference places for those suffering from intolerances (especially celiac disease) given the great attention paid to the products and dishes. I highly recommend it.

Siamo andati a mangiare due pizze ieri sera. Devo dire niente male, il dolce buonissimo, peró le pizze piccole e poco condite e peraltro un’aggiunta di un ingrediente la fanno pagare 5 euro 😟 troppo caro comunque, buono il cibo nel complesso ma non vale tutti quei soldi
