Everything is excellent, from the food to the service. The location is splendid, both with tables on the steps outside and inside. The dishes are well-balanced and carefully prepared, and the staff is discreet and attentive. They also offer a wide range of Sicilian and non-Sicilian wines.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The prosecco was crisp and refreshing — the perfect start to an evening where everything felt just right. The atmosphere struck a flawless balance between elegance and warmth, perfectly suited to the setting. The location itself is stunning, and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive or welcoming. As for the food — the tuna was beautifully seared and full of flavour, while the rabbit was tender, rich, and cooked to absolute perfection. A truly memorable meal in every sense.

Beautiful tavern that places its tables outside on a staircase next to the cathedral of Modica. We came to eat here 6 years ago when it was at the end of the street and had a Michelin star. We came back because it was a place that had remained in our hearts.. it has changed location (much more beautiful) .. and the menu is simply fantastic.. the local products are placed inside each single dish in an excellent way and when you taste them you go back in time.. to that cuisine that tasted of passion and family. We are staying in Noto and in six days for two evenings we came all the way here.. (if it had been up to my husband we would have come every evening). Go and try it and I am sure that you will take with you this fantastic journey of simple but refined cuisine made with top quality products. Fantastic location.. You turn your gaze and see the cathedral. Fair prices. We drank craft beer. Chef Accursio is a simple and very helpful person

Characteristic place. We dined in the outside area which is located on a staircase to the side of the Church of San Pietro. Breathtaking view. Food a beautiful discovery. Highly recommended appetizers (don't miss the roasted octopus with macco di fave), as a second course the rabbit and the dessert with carob cream with ice cream and crumble. The characteristic that permeates all the dishes is the perception of all the scents. Finally, exceptional value for money.

Easily one of (if not THE) best meal we had on this trip to sicily! Service was kind and attentive from the beginning. We got the octopus and arancina appetizers which started off the meal great. I am celiac and they had some of the most delicious gluten free bread ive ever had to dip in their own mix of olive oil as well as both long and short gluten free pasta. They were also able to make the carob mousse dessert gluten free for me to share in! All of the dishes were so tasty and we were seated on the steps right next to the duomo with an amazing view and atmosphere! Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

What a wonderful dinner in a fantastic setting - on the stairs up to the Duomo di San Pietro Apostolo, with the sunsetting over beautiful Modica. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was fresh, delicious and a great blend of classic and innovative flavours.

Ottimo ristorante ricavato all’interno di una antica casa modicana del centro storico. Ottima l’accoglienza dello staff e piacevole la conversazione con l’ottimo Chef Accursio Craparo che ci ha descritto la filosofia che sta dietro la scelta di chiudere il locale stellato per aprire questa osteria, bene così direi! Eccellente cena, abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione. Piatti eseguiti con ottime materie prime e la solita maestria dello chef già saggiata nel ristorante stellato. Prezzi più che corretti considerata l’elevata qualità espressa.
