ACCORDINI IGINO WINERY In San pietro in cariano

This was the third of nine winery visits that were completed over 2 days in the Valpolicella Classico wine region. This was a tightly scheduled tour so we made reservations for the purpose of maintaining our schedule. Our group consisted of 3 but only included 2 active tasters. We seek out reds in our travels but will try other wines. Fabuala was our host for this private winery tour and tasting. She was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic host. The wine tasting was accompanied by a charcuterie board, cheese platter, desert and coffee. The wines were all good. Our favourite wines for this visit were Amarone Riserva Gino Cordin (purchased), Le Viole Amarone Superiore Riserva and Corvina Veronese IGT. We strongly recommend visiting this winery - our host, the tour, the tasting and the quality of the wines were excellent.
