Ottima meteria prima, piatti ben eseguiti ed equilibrati, ambiente rilassato. Tutto bene se non fosse per i prezzi, non giustificati né da complessità di esecuzione, né da presentazione, né da materia prima "nobile" (scelta eticamente apprezzabile l'utilizzo di pesci di piccola taglia, a cui deve però corrispondere un prezzo coerente). A titolo di esempio, non si possono far pagare 24€ 4 micro supplì della dimensione di un boccone ciascuno. Inoltre, amouse bouche insignificante e assenza di pre dessert e piccola pasticceria (preciso che abbiamo ordinato un pasto completo alla carta). Carta dei vini troppo limitata.

It was excellent, pleasant service, just a good place to eat

I went to this restaurant for the first time last week together with a friend who already knew it. It was a special Thursday evening where they had organized a nice social table. What can I say, the very pleasant company and welcoming environment, together with amazing food and wines... I had a wonderful evening! I really appreciated the raw fish and the cod with green curry, not to mention the lemon panna cotta which pleasantly surprised me with a slight bitter note given by the gentian. Wines well paired with the dishes, from small wineries that I didn't know and that I wanted to note. Also positive note about the professional staff and the chef who came to the table to make sure everything was going well. I will definitely be back!

Excellent atmosphere and precise, courteous and welcoming service. The dinner was good and balanced. We did route 4 lead to 80 euros each. However, I must note that the second one was a disappointment for us in terms of the product/workmanship/cost ratio. Very simple and with poor ingredients not in line in my opinion with the other 3 courses. I attach a photo taken by another reviewer but the dish is the same. I hope to focus more on this and will return for a second chance. The 3 stars for the food are in relation to the expense

Best fish restaurant in Prati. Exceptional raw materials, service with starred attention and timing and kindness of the staff. We will definitely be back.

Excellent meal by a chef from Italy’s east coast. I chose the 4-course menu during lunch for €80 and the signature coffee dessert for €12. I appreciated the chef explaining the menu and each dish. More than enough food for me, I asked for the rest of the 4th course item (squid ink pasta) to be packed for takeaway. The first few dishes were raw fish, a seared tuna (amazing, my favorite of the courses), and an assortment of grilled vegetables covered in bread crumbs and spices. The restaurant is quiet and spaced out with only 7 tables. There is a window into the kitchen so you can see the staff preparing the dishes. Overall one of the better meals I had in Italy, not surprisingly since I found this place on the Michelin guide. Also a highlight was the Lauretana natural water. I swear Italy has the best water!!

Edit (after reading the restaurant's response): it seems rather obvious and needless to say that the opinion is personal, all reviews are personal, this is mine and it is based on my experience in other restaurants of a certain quality and on so-so experience in the restaurant in question, that's all, without rancor, when criticism is constructive like mine it must be accepted, I hope you accept it because it's the only way to improve. Good food but overpriced and not very original. I go around a lot for starred or Michelin guide restaurants, so I have some experience in evaluating restaurants. Right in the same area there is a restaurant with 1 Michelin star for example that offers a tasting menu at the same price, which leaves me perplexed. Not so much for the price that the owner decides, but for the fact that the dishes are rather inferior in terms of performance and inventiveness compared to a starred restaurant. In the tasting menu, one of the dishes was a second course of seared fish, served without any accompaniment or sauce. Result, the fish was good but dry, and the breading covered the flavor a lot. In short, a dish not worth 25-30 euros. The starters were ok, but again, they lacked originality and the plating was also very basic. The dessert, nice but in the end even that, doesn't taste like a starred restaurant or Michelin guide. I had also recently been to another restaurant in the guide, not a starred one but much more in the centre, a much more chic place in a 4 star hotel, well I had paid less! Always tasting menu and more or less same conditions. And not only that, we also had several compliments from the chef between one dish and another that we didn't have here, apart from the initial amouse bouche which frankly wasn't even that great as well as not being in theme with the rest of the tasting. I honestly don't know if I will return, there is a lot to review both in the menu and in the presentation.
