An interesting place. A rather unusual blend of Italian, German, or Austrian cuisine. It's probably the proximity of the Alps and Austria. A wide selection of breweries. The pork knuckle? A total surprise; the bones come out effortlessly, the meat is aromatic and tender, melting in your mouth. One of the best I've had in various parts of Europe. The pizza is, well, decent, but nothing special.

It's a nice pub to spend a quiet evening. Plus, the waitresses are very kind.

I don't know if I just had a bad night. After years of enjoying myself, I couldn't talk over the volume of the music blasting from the speakers. I also don't understand the rush to clear the table, as they almost snatch your glass while you're drinking.

Birreria Accademia is always a guarantee. Great selection of beers, delicious burgers and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the environment is perfect for both a quiet dinner and a drink with friends. One of my favorite places in Bergamo.
