I was looking for a pizzeria a few steps from the B&B. I found what I was looking for: a welcoming pizzeria, very fair prices, and above all, delicious pizza. Friendly staff and very fast service. Highly recommended.

I want to thank you for the quality of the food and the excellent service provided by the young waiter with glasses, who was courteous, attentive, and above all professional. However, I would like to report an unprofessional incident involving another of your waitresses: upon my arrival, while I was showing the young waiter with glasses my reservation, I clearly noticed one of your young waitresses with a ponytail laughing behind my back. This is unprofessional, inappropriate, and therefore vulgar behavior in a restaurant that typically stands out for its professionalism and innovation, thanks to its founder, Stefano Callegari. I have visited your restaurant several times in the past and have always appreciated your hospitality. In an era of gender inclusivity and beyond, I hope that incidents like this never happen again and that due attention is paid to respecting each customer. Indeed, respect for the customer must always be guaranteed, regardless of qualifications or appearances, as I unfortunately see in some Italian establishments that welcome and treat certain sommeliers or influencers well: every person deserves consideration, discretion, and top-notch service, regardless of who they are! Since I can't find your email address or receive any replies from your social media pages, I'd like to hear from you, but you seem to ignore it.

This isn't the first time I've eaten at Tonda, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is very professional and attentive to their customers.

Tough review. Let's start by saying the most important thing: the pizza is good. Delicious ingredients, classic and more elaborate recipes available, guaranteed digestibility, and a balanced dough formula (not for the Roman or Neapolitan pizza Taliban, but a harmonious medium-high version). I stopped by (again) during the week and decided to write because I hadn't been back in a long time and tried to figure out why. Maybe the odd prices. Sometimes I leave without thinking about it, sometimes I wonder how I managed to spend almost €20 on a pizza. I understand the quality and all, but when you feel like it's "a bit too much," it's not good. The staff is courteous, but the atmosphere is simple, like a pizzeria in a lively neighborhood that's objectively not central and a bit dead, an area where you go with friends for a casual evening that you might want to repeat and don't want to break the bank. Also, the preparation is inconsistent; we've had pizzas that were quite overcooked, let's say on black, and others that were soft (just how I like them). Anyway, it's worth trying, taking a good look at the prices and not being afraid to ask the staff for help if something goes wrong, because I have to say that they intervened... with the technical timing, mind you, while the others are eating, but they intervened.

In my opinion, the round pizza is intended to be a hybrid, a cross between Neapolitan dough with a pronounced crust—let's not call it contemporary, but at the same time, the dough is appreciated for being tauter than the classic Neapolitan one, and therefore, in a certain sense, closer to the Roman one. The fact is that if I consider dough plus toppings, this pizza is 8.50. Personally, I found the dough to be well-cooked, both in terms of the crust (crispy) and the dough itself, probably thanks to the use of a mix of quality flours. The raw ingredients were outstanding; ordering a Margherita with fior di latte, basil, and parmesan, I was able to see how quality products can enhance an already high-quality dough. As for fried foods, I ordered an off-menu suppli with sausage, chicory, and nduja. It was delicious, excellent breading, even though they used double breading, but the whole thing was pleasant and not too tough to bite into. In addition to the classic menu, as mentioned, you can opt for both off-menu options and the famous trapizzini, with three types to choose from. Total cost: €19, microfiltered water and Coke included.

Trapizzini Romani, suggeriti da un collega del posto. Nel mio caso ne ho preso uno con polpetta al sugo e uno con polla alla cacciatore. Buoni, 5€ l'uno, ho apprezzato!
