We took pizzas for take away several times, service was always great, prices were ok, pizzas were nice too, I don't see how this could be a tourist trap like other reviewers said, prices are clearly on the menu, cheapest pizza is 6 euro, nowhere near a tourist trap and i have seen a lot during the years.

La Varcuzza in Donnalucata was a pleasant surprise: I'd only known it as a restaurant, but the pizza is truly superb! Light dough, quality ingredients, and meticulous attention to detail. A place that's definitely worth a visit as a pizzeria, too.

Welcoming place, we ordered two delicious pizzas, very good dough and ingredients, the wait wasn't long at all and the staff was truly professional, a rare find these days. I don't understand the negative reviews, it almost seems like we ate at two different restaurants.

Beautiful location with a welcoming garden. Good pizza. A bit of a mixup with the orders, but they were very kind in re-proposing the correct dishes. After all, when the tables are full, that can happen. Prices are typical for a summer evening in a tourist resort.

A welcoming atmosphere, with ample outdoor space, makes for a pleasant evening with family or friends. We had fries and pizzas. The ingredients were delicious, although I can't comment on the more sophisticated dishes we didn't try.
The only flaw of the evening was the service: there were four of us, and the pizzas were brought one at a time, spaced minutes apart. In the end, the last pizza arrived after the first ones had already cooled, even though it wasn't particularly busy. This is a very important aspect for the customer experience, and I think it needs improvement.

Excellent pizza, friendly and helpful staff. We had aperitif dinner sitting outside, overlooking the seafront; simple and beautiful, a relaxing, no-frills experience. The red craft beer on tap was also good.

The setting is pleasant, with a nice grassy area and easy parking. Service was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing — the pizza was chewy, and the fritto misto lacked flavor and quality.

But can you pay 14 euros for a pizza? There were also 17-euro pizzas on the menu. Too expensive, and the pizza wasn't worth the money: it was tasteless and the toppings weren't the best.
