04/01/2026: If you're looking for a simple trattoria frequented by local Neapolitans, Malinconico is the place for you. Simple, classic dishes, with limited selections and updated daily, are lovingly prepared by the chef. You'll feel like you're having lunch or dinner at an aunt's house. The place is very small and basic (paper tablecloths, wooden benches, etc.), but you'll see a constant flow of people outside the door and the owner greets many of the restaurant's patrons by name. The service is very pleasant, and we were particularly impressed by the speed with which the dishes arrived. Recommended for those who want local food, without too many frills, and at relatively reasonable prices. Approved!

A simple atmosphere, affordable prices, and above all, home-style cooking reminiscent of that of your mother and grandmother, enriched with all the main traditional Neapolitan dishes. If you find yourself in Naples, you can't miss it. Highly recommended.
