"I have to tell you, I have to tell you..." The pizzeria is very nice. Due to its high demand, it seems smaller than it actually is when you see it in person. The experience far exceeded our already high expectations based on the photos we saw online. The pizza has a light dough and quality ingredients. We ordered one of everything with the seafood because it was delicious, and you can't leave without the dessert pizza. What can I say... EXCELLENT.

Some flaws in the service, such as three pizzas delivered immediately, one after 15 minutes, and the sugar for my coffee arrived 10 minutes after the coffee, so I decided to drink it bitter. While the atmosphere is very (overly) bright and not very welcoming, the pizza and fried foods are very good.

The best Roman pizza in Rome, really excellent fried food with a super crunchy breading, cacio e pepe and cubotto to try, all good and very fine pizzas, good desserts, shame about the limited choice of beer but it can be accepted, excellent price

The best Roman pizza you can eat in Rome, and there's little else to say. Famous, but not hyped, always busy, but without the bogus reservation system that makes it seem inaccessible (just Google "scarcity effect"), excellent in every way: amazing fried foods, thin, crispy pizzas that never leave you hungry, perfect dough, top-quality ingredients, and the ortolana salad that changes monthly with seasonal vegetables. Every now and then I have to change pizzerias to avoid looking ridiculous: I always regret it.

Excellent neighborhood pizzeria, affordable and ideal for those looking for a true Roman pizza, thin and crispy, no frills but well-executed.
The menu offers a decent variety of fried appetizers and a wide selection of classic pizzas, along with interesting monthly seasonal specials.
The fried foods are excellent: I personally enjoyed the carbonara supplì, truly well-made and tasty.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a quiet evening.
Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.

A no-frills pizzeria on the outskirts of Rome.
Perfect pizza, perfectly cooked with high-quality ingredients.
The fried foods are also excellent!

The food is excellent and the price is reasonable.
However, there are two problems: first, it's very difficult to book, and second (and more importantly), when you finally do book, they tell you you have to leave at a certain time (I think it's an hour and a half...).
To the owners: we all lead hectic lives, always following timetables. When you go out for pizza with friends to relax and spend a carefree evening (maybe a birthday!), having to rush to leave isn't a good thing.
It would be nice to spend a carefree evening without worrying about the time.
Think about it! 😉

This time I brought my friends from Testaccio, who know a thing or two about pizza, and more. They were also impressed by the extraordinary goodness of the classic and non-classic pizzas (Sami Special TOP pizza; Zozzona Super). Long live A Rota!

Excellent pizzeria: sublime pizzas, crispy and delicious suppliant, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. We hadn't made a reservation, but they found us a table. Highly recommended.

Roman emigrants, we returned for Christmas. We'd heard about A Rota from a Stanley Tucci documentary and were intrigued. We were absolutely delighted with the courtesy from the moment we booked, the welcoming atmosphere, and the delightful Roman piazza. The mandarin sorbet was also amazing. We'll be back!
