Typical Roman pizza, thin and crunchy until the end, the trio of Roman appetizers is also worth trying.

The very light pizza is excellent, but the fried foods are also very pleasantly remembered.
To book you have to take the line as soon as they open in the afternoon, like in the old days, but it's not a negative factor, weight is given to the interest of the reservation.

Authentic Roman pizza. Light, crunchy and well seasoned. Definitely first choice ingredients. Friendly staff and a simple but welcoming place. The starters are also good. Definitely recommended

I had dinner with my parents. Crispy supplì, paid to perfection and thin and crunchy pizza, truly delicious. Mario, the owner is really nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.
These are the neighborhood realities that make the difference.

A Rota Pizzeria Romanesca: the authentic heart of Roman pizza in Torpignattara
If you think that Roman pizza is just a question of thin dough, crunchy at the right point and well seasoned, A Rota will change your perspective. Located in the heart of Torpignattara, a neighborhood that still pulsates with the truest Roman authenticity, this pizzeria does not limit itself to offering an excellent product: it elevates it to a sensorial experience.
Pizza: a symphony of details
Every pizza that comes out of the oven seems to have been designed with obsessive care, the result of a perfect balance between dough, cooking and ingredients of absolute quality. Not a difference between the pizzas that parade, a precision that can only be striking. It's as if every margherita, every capricciosa, every gourmet proposal were a tribute to tradition, but with that touch of innovation that makes it irresistible.
Fried: a revelation
The fried foods are among the best I've ever tried. Light, crunchy, and surprisingly not greasy, they leave room for the authentic flavors of the ingredients, without ever being heavy. A targeted choice of raw materials is evident, which really makes the difference.
Desserts: good, but…
Tiramisu? Pleasant, but without the same "wow" effect of pizzas and fried foods. A solid dessert, which does its job, but does not reach the stellar heights of the rest of the menu.
An emotional experience
What really sets A Rota apart is not just the technical quality (which is indisputable), but the emotional experience it offers. Pizza here is not just food: it is a memory, a state of mind, a celebration of how we Italians approach pizzeria. It's not just an evening out, but a little magic that is renewed with every bite.
Why go there?
If you are looking for real Roman pizza, the one that brings together tradition, passion and obsessive attention to detail, A Rota Pizzeria Romanesca is a must. Torpignattara becomes the destination for those seeking authenticity, and this place is its flagship.
Useful tips:
• Book in advance, especially on weekends: this gem is anything but a secret.
• Don't miss the supplì and cod fillets: they alone are worth the visit.
• Be ready to live an experience that, more than a dinner, is a journey into the flavors of Rome.
In a nutshell: A Rota is not just a pizzeria, it is a declaration of love for Rome and its cuisine.

For years, it has been a cornerstone of traditional Roman pizza rolled out with a rolling pin. The environment is rustic without frills, but at the same time authentic as we like it. We always remember that the pizzeria a rota and attached to the tavern are always owned by the same owner. As far as fried foods are concerned, the mozzarella in carrozza takes pride of place, with fine but tasty non-greasy breading, the interior is appreciated for the harmony and balance of the flavours. In addition to the classic suppli, also the mattonella amatriciana and cacio w pepe are worth trying. As far as pizzas are concerned, there are the timeless Roman pizzas rolled out with a rolling pin as tradition dictates, therefore thin, thin and crunchy, or you can opt for the pizzas of the month like the one we had today, the lasagna, a kissed pizza stuffed with meat sauce fior di latte and bechamel. The thing that is appreciated most of all is the dough because despite the very generous and present seasoning, they managed to maintain a crunchy melting dough as per tradition. The cost of the month's pizzas varies between €13 per round and proudly represents those taverns, village pizzerias anchored to a past that has made history. Super recommended

Locale carino. Personale gentile e disponibile.
