Simply insanely awesome! You have to like the atmosphere, but the taste is amazing. Catania was our last stop on our tour of the island, and this place impressed us in every way. Thank you for this fantastic experience! You should visit Catania for this reason alone.

Really true Sicily...we were the only tourists...I stuffed myself so much that I spent it until the evening, three-course menu, two beers, water and 1/2 wine for 35e and the atmosphere of true Sicily, no scenery

Puta do Calabrisi – A Hidden Gem in Catania
A true local spot with a warm, down-to-earth vibe. The food was excellent — homemade, hearty and full of flavor. I had a variety of dishes from pasta al forno to grilled swordfish, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Even the antipasti and desserts were delicious. On top of that, the prices were incredibly affordable, especially for the quality and portions you get. If you’re in Catania and want a no-frills, authentic Sicilian experience, this is the place. Highly recommend!

This is 100% the experience I was looking for. Amazingly friendly staff, set menu (choice of fish or meat) , good solid home cooked food - a fantastic meal and experience. Loved it here.
