A restaurant like you rarely find. In a not very sexy area, incredible restaurant with a discreet front and a shabby interior where you are welcomed with complete simplicity and a real family spirit. Don't look for the map. You eat at a few tables, often shared with locals in both work and Sunday clothes, one of the Antipasti, Primi, Secondi and dolci of the day that are described to you in colorful Italian. All accompanied by water, a beer or the owner’s wine for the modest sum of €10 per meal!

What can I say, it's always a pleasure to eat at Putia del Calabrese.
You enter, you sit down and you immediately feel at home. Delicious food, kind and friendly staff. Wonderful family.

Antipasti, ensalada de tomate, pasta Norma, sopa de lentejas y principales de pescado. . Calamares a la parrilla y Anchoas con ajo y hierbas, estofado de conejo y escaploe de ternera... Todo muy sabroso

Muy diferente a la mayoría de los reticentes de Catania. Excelente cocina italiana del sur. El área puede dar un poco de miedo, ten cuidado por la noche.
