Beautiful restaurant. Very quiet. The food was very good, as was the service. Highlight: the grotto below where the river flows. One of the few places where you can see Catania underground.

Excellent restaurant found by chance on the internet! Last year during our holiday in Sicily we decided to try this place, very suggestive because of the cave and the stream of water that flows through it. I booked well in advance to have the room downstairs and we were very satisfied both with the place and with the courtesy of the waiters!

Super cool vibe, amazing cocktails(best espresso martini I’ve had in Sicily), delicious food, reasonable prices and really nice staff. You must visit the cave under the restaurant!

Amazing discovery in Catania. We ordered a gorgonzola and funghi risotto and a seafood pasta, they were very tasteful, great portion and amazing price. Really recommend it! Try to make reservations, we did ours a few hours before and it worked perfectly, we had a table facing the entry of the cave (which you can access). Awesome experience! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. 10/10! Grazie!

You should definetly come here. The food is awesome. I ate pasta twice here and I think I’ll eat again. The prices are very good and the restaurant is in the heart of fish market. You’ll find something interesting downstairs in the restaurant.

Cena perfetta, sono vegana e ho trovato opzioni gustose, personale gentile e molto disponibile! Locale molto bello, nel locale La grotta c'è una vera grotta lavica con ruscello, da non perdere! Ritornerò sicuramente!

20/06/2025: Every time I return to Sicily from Sweden, a stop at Biancuccia bakery is a must. Their scacciate are not only good: they are an experience. The dough is always perfect, the fillings abundant and rich in flavor, and you can feel all the passion with which they work every day. It is a bakery that preserves tradition and renews it with love, attention and quality. You can't pass by here without stopping at Biancuccia - it is a small great jewel of Sicilian taste!
20/06/2025: Ogni volta che torno in Sicilia dalla Svezia, una tappa al forno Biancuccia è d’obbligo. Le loro scacciate non sono solo buone: sono un’esperienza. L’impasto è sempre perfetto, i ripieni abbondanti e ricchi di gusto, e si sente tutta la passione con cui lavorano ogni giorno. È un forno che custodisce la tradizione e la rinnova con amore, attenzione e qualità. Non si può passare da qui senza fermarsi da Biancuccia – è un piccolo grande gioiello del gusto siciliano!
