Incredible! Sometimes there is a line and it is worth the wait because everything was delicious. We were served very quickly, we ordered the bruschetta, the parmigiana and the pasta with pistachio pesto (another level!). We liked it so much that we repeated the next day, highly recommended!

A Putia is a restaurant in the center of Syracuse, nothing to do with the classic tourist place and above all, in this period, it is advisable to book to avoid long waits. It doesn't have many tables, there is also the possibility of eating on the street but, given that the interior is air conditioned, I would not recommend it given the sporadic passing of cars. We took two land appetizers rich in grilled vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, ricotta, olives...excellent and plentiful as was the first course with pistachio pesto and pachino tomatoes, a real delight as a condiment and pasta cooked to perfection. As a second course, orange chicken with vegetables, very soft meat, tasty vegetables and a generous dish. The price/quality ratio is above average.

Today I had lunch in this little place with my partner. We had an octopus salad (good, although the octopus was not fresh, as rightly reported on the menu), pasta alla norma (also good), and finally the Maniace linguine. The linguine was unpresentable, watered down, loose, with large chunks of frozen, tasteless tuna. My partner left the plate untouched, we waited a long time for someone to notice it (there weren't many customers), but to no avail. During the payment I pointed out what was described above, and the person in charge exclaimed "I'll take it off your bill, even though I shouldn't". Zero desire to fix it. A serious restaurateur would have asked what was wrong, would have tried not to make a guest leave dissatisfied and hungry, but being in such a tourist area, customers (for some) are just numbers.

Piccolo ristorante con qualche tavolino anche all’esterno, personale composto da ragazzi giovani molto gentili, materie prime ottime. Buonissimo il tonno affumicato e la pasta alla siracusana. Armatevi di pazienza in quanto non accettano prenotazioni, ma ne vale la pena

Locale aperto anche a Gennaio (che non è poco), mangiato a cena in due, una insalata di polipo, un piatto di olive condite, due primi e una bottiglia di nero d'avola.
Tutto mediamente buono ma speravo meglio date le predominanti recensioni.
Servizio perfetto. Stranieri e locali gli avventori. Prezzo nella media (66 in due).
Bisogna riprovare.
