Well-deserved positive reviews; fair prices and generous portions, especially the Penne alla Barca! Just the right amount of fish (all flavorful and clearly fresh), no need for added salt, and a wonderful sauce that would have been a shame not to mop up the sauce. The fried fish was also plentiful, yet light, and the vegetables were very tasty (personal opinion: I'm not usually a fan of them, but these are the exception!). The staff were friendly and welcoming, with an owner who made you feel at ease and offered excellent suggestions for dishes and menus. All this was complemented by a lovely sea view and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent location with a very romantic sea view. The staff was always very friendly, competent, and punctual. The food lived up to expectations: excellent appetizers, first courses, and second courses, obviously fish-based.

A historic restaurant, and Maurizio, the owner, is a kind and friendly person, as are the waiters.
A fabulous location, overlooking the sea.
For appetizers, we had
Our anchovies, fresh and marinated by them with Tropea onions, cherry tomatoes, and lamb's lettuce dressed with a spicy sauce, decidedly flavorful and fabulous.
Squid and vegetable salad, delicate and delicious.
For the first course, penne alla barca, delicious.
For the second course,
Fried squid.
Fried mixed seafood.
The fried dishes are superb and are served with julienned and fried vegetables (eggplant and zucchini).
For dessert, a tiramisu made by them.
What more can I say? Absolutely fantastic.
And we've been there four times in a month, and we'll be back.

Kindness and honesty!
When does the owner ever recommend ordering one less dish because he knows the portions he's serving? Almost never, but not here at "A Modo Mio."
There were four of us, and we ordered (on recommendation) three portions of penne alla barca and two of fried squid.
Quality assured, the pasta was incredible and the fried squid was incredibly light!
The price was more than fair for the amount of fish on the plates. We washed it all down with a glass of prosecco from a local producer.
I highly recommend trying it, but remember to book!

A beautiful location, eating on the terrace is a real treat... I appreciated how quickly they delivered the kids' pizza (which was also very good), while my wife and I had the pasta in barca (their specialty, a pan-fried pasta dish with at least 300g of mussels, clams, and tomato) and fried squid, both truly excellent. Recommended.

Siamo stati 3 giorni a Loano e ci siamo trovati talmente bene quì che non abbiamo mai cambiato. La mattina in spiaggia con lettini e ombrelloni e poi a pranzo pesce fresco e ben cucinato. Servizio veloce e personale cortese.
