It's become one of my favorite pizzerias. Fast service and a very kind waitress. The pizza is exceptional, crispy, and packed with top-quality ingredients—very rare to find a pizzeria like this. The atmosphere is also very nice and welcoming. The pizza made in Southern Italy is definitely worth trying.

We went for dinner two days a week. The pizzas were spectacular and the service was super attentive. We'll definitely be back when we're in Rome again.

Very nice and quiet place, very clean, very friendly and kind service. The pizzas are spectacular, the best of the places I've eaten at. Normal price between 13 and 15 euros per pizza. Highly recommended.

Very nice pizzeria a stone's throw from the center. The raw materials are excellent and prepared with care, fried foods are not greasy and very good, pizzas and pucce are really excellent. A girl from the staff is really nice and present, the other two you could see would have preferred to be elsewhere

I have been to Rome last week with friends and we were so lucky to accidentally find this little pizzaria on the first day. This is a hidden gem of Rome on the corner of a quiet street. We tried other restaurants in other parts of the city, most of them more expensive, but none of them beats A Mano a Mano. We tried diferent pizzas which were all great, very thin pastry and deliciuos. I stuck with a spectacular calzone of ham and mushrooms 👌. The cherry on top of the cake was the young lady's simpathy. Very welcoming place. Made us feel like home. Highly recomend if you are after simple real food.

09/12/2025: Wow, this place was spectacular! We stumbled upon it by chance. More than anything, we sat down because Simone, the waiter, was super friendly and fun. He told us lots of things about Rome and gave us a taste of his olive oil, since we're from Spain, specifically Jaén, where the best olive oil is made. I have to say, the oil was delicious. For our meal, we ordered two pasta carbonaras, the best I've ever had in Rome. I'll never forget the flavor... We also ordered a risotto, which was unusual because it was purple, and it was delicious. And finally, we ordered lasagna, which was also spectacular... Simone's service was amazing... Everything was a 10 out of 10!
08/12/2025: We ate here on the night of the feast of the Immaculate and had a wonderful experience! Homemade pasta, great prices (75 euro for 2 meals and bottle of wine), and very cute and quaint atmosphere. We sat outside in December and there were space heaters available. I had the truffle fettuccine and it was cooked perfectly and has been my best meal in Italy so far. My husband had the scialatielli and it was also cooked perfectly and was also a larger portion. If we had more time we would definitely be back!

04/09/2025: I discovered Pasticceria Matrem in Piazza Bologna and was thrilled! A modern and welcoming place, perfect for a sweet break. The panciol was truly a surprise: soft, delicate, and exceptionally flavorful, one of the best I've ever had. The variety of sweet and leavened pastries is also excellent, all prepared with great care. The friendly and attentive staff helps make the experience even more enjoyable. A must-see for anyone seeking quality and deliciousness in Rome. 🍩☕
03/09/2025: A MUST-try if you're in Rome. These pangoccioli are simply too good to eat just one. Not to mention the filling, I recommend the pistachio flavor. For the quality, the prices are incredibly low. We'll definitely be back.
