We had an unforgettable cooking class with Nonna and Greta, and we highly recommend it! The experience was interactive, educational, and so much fun. We spent an incredible time laughing, learning, and sharing moments with these wonderful people.
After the class, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner made entirely by us—two types of fresh pasta crafted with local, zero-kilometer ingredients. It was incredible to learn that they personally grow or produce everything they serve, from olive oil to bread and cheese.
To top it off, they gave us a tour of the stunning estate, including the beautiful rooms and the fascinating history of the place. It was truly amazing, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise—just go and experience it for yourself!
Our only regret? Not staying longer. But we’ll definitely be back!

New Year's Eve lunch with a fixed menu. We left the restaurant all satisfied and I swear that we were unable to consume everything that was brought to the table. Recipes from the past and typical products of our own production. Roundup of appetizers, 2 first courses, dessert, coffee, bitters, and drinks included. Compliments to the staff. I recommend it to everyone. Quiet and very characteristic environment.

Excellent inn-restaurant, truly beautiful summer location, the upper terraces overlooking the beautiful historic center of Matino! Classic and also revisited dishes, certainly genuine, in fact they use seasonal raw materials, for example, now that it is September, there are various dishes with figs. Definitely recommended! The very kind chef who owns the restaurant (there is also a B&B) makes sure that everything is ok and that the customers are satisfied. Update December 2024, always kind and excellent homemade dishes, for the winter it is characteristic to eat in the underground oil mill. You can also arrive by car but you then have to park in the square or under the main street. There is also an elevator to reach the upper floors

We only ate in the restaurant.
But the place alone is very magical and special. The view of the city is also great. Worth a visit! The food was great (large portions) and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. People like to eat here.

Last night my friend and I had a cooking class with Nonna & her granddaughter. This was so much fun to do!
We were a total of 6 people and we first made 3 different pastas and then had an extensive dinner on the roof terrace.
Besides the fact that it was very educational and delicious, the people were also very nice and fun!
Definitely recommended to really make the pasta in a small group and enjoy the delicious food 🍝

Location suggestiva nel centro storico di Matino. La locanda è su diversi piani, all’ingresso siamo stati accolti da una signora che ci ha indicato la strada per la terrazza, per i pigri o le persone con bambini o disabili c’è l’ascensore.
Abbiamo cenato nella terrazza prive con un supplemento di 3 euro a persona. La consiglio vivamente, specialmente in piena estate, sia per la vista che per la brezza che consente di cenare con un piacevole venticello.
La cucina è tipica salentina. C’è la possibilità del menù fisso o di mangiare alla carta. Peccato che alcuni menu sono solo per gruppi da 6 persone e più.
La location è da 10, il cibo è molto turistico, da salentina dico che si potrebbe migliorare.
Ci torneremo comunque perché la
