Discovered by chance during a weekend in Salento, I would gladly return whenever I wanted to immerse myself in a harmonious context, made of lights, colors and flavours. An enveloping location, decidedly particular and outside the traditional mold (as I like it). There is an air of tradition and innovation. Every step accompanies you to look around in amazement. The terrace offers an enchanting view and a romantic and fresh atmosphere. Highly recommended..

Wonderful place in a position where the panorama frames the whole town. If you are a couple, eat on the terraces, it's worth it as you have tasty local dishes made with local passion. Back for the second time!!!! 🤩

Really pleasant place. Maintained with heart and passion. I spent a pleasant evening with my family. Typical Salento menu, dishes faithful to tradition, generous in portions and excellent. I recommend it!

We didn't stay but simply enjoyed a fantastic dinner on the rooftops of Matino! An experience that has remained in our hearts, in addition to a wonderful view, the service was impeccable and the food was superb (the figs in carriage are absolutely worth trying).

In una serata bollente abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti in questo piacevole ristorante, locanda. Il terrazzino all’ultimo piano del palazzotto è molto carino con una vista deliziosa sui tetti di Matino, nonostante l’altitudine faceva un caldo mostruoso. Ma questo non ci ha impedito di gustare tutti i piatti della tradizione salentina veramente buoni. Personale gentile e gradevole. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Torneremo !

I don't know it as an inn itself, but I have appreciated the restaurant for years. The location is very suggestive and characteristic, both the building and the terrace where the restaurant is located. I didn't give 5 stars only because it seems to me that the performance has dropped slightly in the dishes. Not in all, but in some. Quick service and courteous staff!

Magical place. The terrace gave us an unforgettable and authentic experience. The food including the cured meats, the sagras, the pieces was amazing.

Restaurant: Extraordinary location, very special, fantastic atmosphere, truly exceptional tasting... genuine flavors like in the past... very kind staff and the minstrel was the icing on the cake... very good!!! Compliments!!!!

We come to you every year on vacation and the atmosphere is simply unique. The food tastes excellent. Price performance very fair! *Has a lift for strollers or wheelchairs

Location davvero molto particolare, bella. Camerieri bravi, gentili e simpatici: in particolare il alto castano. Antipasto misto davvero buono e particolare. Purtroppo le orecchiette alle cime di rapa sono arrivate scotte, acquose con rape completamente “sciolte” e bagnate. Peccato.

Primo Restaurant in Lecce

14/08/2024: It's my second visit. Excellent experience this time. Not that the first one wasn't enjoyable too, but I still had some doubts. In reality, I have understood that traveling "à la carte" always gives me a better experience than the tasting menu (a choice that I almost always prefer on the first visit). I found greater balance and maturity in all the proposals. A level of the (numerous) amuse bouche at times higher than the main courses. On all dishes, the orange sweetbreads and raw prawns shine. Also mentionable for the beer-glazed turcinieddhi. If a note must be made, the desserts (for my taste) are a step below everything that precedes. And what follows, given that the real sweet note is pleasantly left by the amuse bouche that closes the journey. Selection of wines and spirits up to the level now achieved. Trained and present staff. Adequate prices. Absolutely deserved star.
06/08/2024: Really everything very excellent. Dinner in a small, but warm and welcoming environment. Took the tasting menu: fabulous! Very kind waiters. We met the chef: an exceptional person.

Ristorante Belami

26/08/2024: Restaurant: ....you are never wrong.......Belami is always a discovery of flavours, aromas of hospitality and courtesy...Chef Tiziano guarantees great quality together with his team and the dining room staff.... ..I mention only two dishes: tagliolini with sea cicada and Catalan lobster consumed on two different occasions.....I can't add anything else.....except that the place, Maglie, maintains all its Salento charm. ....and it's worth a walk....and tasting a good pasticciotto.....
26/08/2024: excellent dinner and welcome, a restaurant with delicious food, beautiful venue and truly hospitable and professional waiters!
