Excellent inn-restaurant, truly beautiful summer location, the upper terraces overlooking the beautiful historic center of Matino! Classic and also revisited dishes, certainly genuine, in fact they use seasonal raw materials, for example, now that it is September, there are various dishes with figs. Definitely recommended! The very kind chef who owns the restaurant (there is also a B&B) makes sure that everything is ok and that the customers are satisfied. Update December 2024, always kind and excellent homemade dishes, for the winter it is characteristic to eat in the underground oil mill. You can also arrive by car but you then have to park in the square or under the main street. There is also an elevator to reach the upper floors

Excellent place to have lunch or dinner to try the typical Salento menu. Very friendly staff and excellent quality food.

We only ate in the restaurant. But the place alone is very magical and special. The view of the city is also great. Worth a visit! The food was great (large portions) and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. People like to eat here.

After dinner the owner (cook) sang and played the guitar. Very good.

Last night my friend and I had a cooking class with Nonna & her granddaughter. This was so much fun to do! We were a total of 6 people and we first made 3 different pastas and then had an extensive dinner on the roof terrace. Besides the fact that it was very educational and delicious, the people were also very nice and fun! Definitely recommended to really make the pasta in a small group and enjoy the delicious food 🍝

Had a cooking workshop here under the guidance of nonna and her granddaughter. It was fantastic!!

Nice place, in the historic center of Matino, with an excellent attic terrace from which you can see the town, good food, fair prices for the place.

In una serata bollente abbiamo mangiato piatti squisiti in questo piacevole ristorante, locanda. Il terrazzino all’ultimo piano del palazzotto è molto carino con una vista deliziosa sui tetti di Matino, nonostante l’altitudine faceva un caldo mostruoso. Ma questo non ci ha impedito di gustare tutti i piatti della tradizione salentina veramente buoni. Personale gentile e gradevole. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Torneremo !

Splendida location nel centro storico. Ottimi i piatti cucinati secondo tradizione. I prezzi in rapporto a quello che offrono sono veramente buoni. Unica pecca le fritture negli antipasti avevano un retrogusto dato da un olio secondo me non freschissimo. Personale in sala forse troppo giovane e poco esperto. Hanno portato 2 cocktail di benvenuto ma eravamo 3 adulti al tavolo, dando forse per scontato che il piu giovane non fosse ancora maggiorenne (bastava chiedere prima). Al momento di pagare mi sono ritrovato sul conto uno degli antipasti ordinato ma risultato poi non disponibile e ho dovuto far ricalcolare il conto. Nel complesso consiglio di provare questo locale
