You can't go wrong eating here! The pinsa is excellent, even for takeout, with a wide selection and top-quality ingredients. The prices are a bit high for the size of the pinsa, but otherwise I can't fault it: good from appetizer to dessert. I wish they'd bring back Sunday brunch; it was a really great idea they launched during COVID! The place is aesthetically beautiful both inside and out, but it's a shame about the back, which could perhaps be better utilized or at least tidied up. Inside, there's a single, well-furnished room; the only thing that could be considered is adding some panels to muffle the chatter (though I personally didn't find it annoying).

Excellent Roman trattoria in the heart of Emilia Romagna

A typical Roman restaurant in a wonderful historic building. Delicious dishes, a wide variety of options, including the restaurant and pinsa. We tried several appetizers, first courses, second courses, and pinsa, but for me the chicory fritters and the lamb chops were truly outstanding! The wine was also excellent. It's a shame the service was a bit slow, but we'll definitely be back for traditional Roman fare.

My husband and I went to dinner at this restaurant recommended by his son and Roman friends. We had a great time. We had an appetizer, two first courses, and a dessert. Everything was delicious. The quality and price were right. We'll definitely return to this restaurant where we'll have the second courses so we can evaluate them even better. The food is certainly good and high-quality, typical of Roman cuisine, and that deserves to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, however, the experience was somewhat marred by the service: far too slow and inflexible. They even refused to let me assemble a pinsa the way I wanted. A real shame, because with a little more attention and helpfulness from the staff, the place could really make a difference.

Very nice place... under the porticoes of Medicina... the quality of the food is very good but the portions are a bit small... in my opinion the side dishes and desserts are expensive... anyway, I would go back.

A corner of Rome in the heart of Medicina! We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, with extremely kind and helpful staff. We tried some typical Roman dishes, and it truly felt like we were in Trastevere! The carbonara was perfect: creamy, with crispy bacon, and so much flavor. The cacio e pepe also deserves a special mention. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and great attention to detail. Excellent value, too. A wonderful discovery in Medicina—we'll definitely be back!
