A Cunziria In Vizzini

We stayed and dined at the A Cunziria farmhouse and can honestly say it was a truly wonderful experience. The place is truly enchanting. As soon as we arrived, we checked in and the staff escorted us to our room. We were two adults and two children, so the room consisted of a double bed and a bunk bed. The room was equipped with every comfort: TV, heating, mini-bar, hairdryer, etc., making it very comfortable and welcoming. In the evening, we dined at the property's restaurant and were seated at a table practically inside a cave, a truly enchanting setting that creates a unique atmosphere. The menu included: • a rich appetizer with cured meats, cheeses, ricotta, olives, mushrooms, and other specialties, • two first courses: mezze maniche all'arrabbiata (a revisited version of the Arrabbiata) and conchiglioni with spinach and ricotta, • second course: a truly exceptional tagliata (a thinly sliced ​​steak) with potatoes. The meat is often stringy, but this one literally melted in your mouth. • Finally, we had cannoli with ricotta, accompanied, of course, by wine and water. The staff was kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, making us feel truly at ease. We've also posted some photos to give you a better idea of ​​the beauty of the place. For a romantic weekend, we stayed in the Chalet dello Studente, rustic, comfortable, and clean. On the evening of our arrival, we had pizza for dinner, and the next day we had lunch, sampling the house's rustic antipasto and two first courses. The food was excellent, with refined, authentic flavors. The property is enchanting, surrounded by nature, ideal for a short break from everyday life. The staff was impeccable. We especially enjoyed the receptionist and the two waiters—friendly, welcoming, and helpful, so much so that I almost wished I could have taken them home with me 😄. We'll definitely be back ♥️

The property is located in the municipality of Vizzini (Giovanni Verga's birthplace), not far from the town center. The various farmhouses are surrounded by wide valleys and hills covered with prickly pears, creating a truly unique setting. The restaurant is housed within a deep, long, and characteristic cave. I was with a tour group on a tour of Sicily. Here, I was able to taste various dishes, representative of Sicilian specialties, all of excellent quality. The staff was very quick, helpful, and kind.

I had lunch away from home for the first time on Christmas Day 2025 and was invited to this place. I did well: charming place, nice people, excellent lunch overall, from the 19 homemade appetizers, to the 3 first courses, 2 second courses, and 2 desserts. Even the wine was amaro. Everything was super flavorful. What more could you want... 😋😋😋😋 All the staff were helpful and super friendly. They also offer pizza. I have to go👍 I recommend it, you won't regret it.
