I went for dinner a few days ago, inspired by the "not-so-exciting" menu. I was thoroughly satisfied. Very small (I think it seats no more than 15-20 people), but truly interesting in terms of the menu (with decidedly local dishes), the service (friendly and attentive), and the price (given that we're in San Frediano).

A wonderful lunch for two in a small and truly welcoming restaurant, with just a few tables inside and a few seats outside. The atmosphere is warm, familiar, and typically Tuscan, made even more special by the open kitchen.
The menu is simple yet carefully crafted, with dishes prepared with care and passion. The owner is incredibly kind and loves to explain and share every dish, making you feel right at home.
A truly positive experience, highly recommended!

Another Santo Spirito gem! My partner and I stumbled upon it on 12/29 while searching for a place to have lunch. There was one man running the whole show from welcoming us with warmth to serving and cooking. The dishes were served with great care and presentation and the flavors‼️ Easily one of the best meals I've had my entire time in Italy. Places that feel like you're eating in a friend's home are so special, and this was definitely one of those.

The best beef tartare I've ever eaten. The quality of the meat and the cut were amazing. Great service, good music. Unpretentious, relaxed. I also had a crostini with chicken livers, and it was simple and delicious. Grazie mille!

I was there at the end of September for the first time in a year. Nick recognized me immediately, which shows that they really care about their guests. The cocktails are delicious, as always, and so is the food. A very well-maintained and well-run place. Prices are very reasonable. See you next time. Greetings from Germany
