Excellent place! Delicious ravioli with porcini mushrooms, a very good caponata to share...and a very friendly welcome.

The service was very attentive and spoke excellent English. The food was phenomenal. We had ravioli with porcini mushrooms and sage butter for the starter, and lasagna with porcini mushrooms for the main course. The dessert, a hazelnut cake, was also excellent. You can taste the love that goes into making it. The ingredients are of good quality, and it's nice to see that they offer regional and seasonal dishes. Above all, there was a large vegetarian selection.

We spent a week in beautiful Apricale and ate there twice during that time... we were delighted both times. Simple (and I don't mean that in a negative way), authentic, regional dishes that you can't find everywhere, prepared with perfect craftsmanship. They also gave us a great wine recommendation, and apart from that, the piazza in Apricale is simply a dream for a lovely summer evening. The value for money is decent. The service is friendly and very professional, but not overly warm. Highly recommended!

Outdoor seating in Apricale's beautiful square. Traditional Western Ligurian dishes with excellent ingredients, many locally sourced. The staff is very friendly and informative in explaining the menu. A must-try!
