Casa Martino is a small hidden jewel in Taviano, capable of combining the Salento tradition with a warm and attentive welcome. Already from the entrance you can perceive a particular atmosphere: the restaurant is integrated with a hotel and, thanks to this union, you have a pleasant view of the external garden, well-kept and relaxing. This detail, together with the simple but elegant internal environment, contributes to creating a feeling of calm and genuineness. The culinary experience begins with a surprise: welcome pittula. These small fried morsels, fragrant and tasty, represent a first taste of the delights that Casa Martino has to offer. As a first course I chose a classic from the Apulian tradition: orecchiette with turnip greens, tomatoes and breadcrumbs. The combination of flavors, with the strong taste of the turnip greens balanced by the sweetness of the tomatoes and the crunchiness of the breadcrumbs, was perfect. The second course, however, exceeded all expectations: tender and well-seasoned lamb rolls. The meat was cooked to perfection, enhanced by aromas that recall local tradition. Every bite was a journey into the authentic flavors of Salento. To end on a sweet note, I chose a dessert that crowned the entire experience. The staff proved attentive and friendly throughout the meal, always ready to advise and make every customer feel at home. The final price was absolutely adequate for both the quality of the dishes and the service, making Casa Martino a place that I highly recommend to anyone who wishes to discover the flavors and hospitality of Salento. It is an experience that deserves to be lived, especially for those who love traditional cuisine with a touch of care and authenticity.

A truly enjoyable family lunch. The extremely refined environment, the wine list full of local labels for all palates and budgets, the simple dishes with great attention to the quality of the raw materials and processing. Quick, attentive service. For me a place to return to and to recommend.

We had dinner with friends, the restaurant is really beautiful and welcoming, the waiters are very professional, courteous and make you feel at ease straight away. We took 2 sea and land appetizers, broad beans and chicory, sagne torte and as a second course some meat skewers. Everything was exceptional, from cooking to flavour. I found myself satisfied as always. If I had to make a note it is only on the starters which perhaps, compared to the price, were a little low. We will definitely return.

Leuke ambiance, hele aardige charmante bediening(Lorenzo). Heerlijke orechiette, overheerlijke vitello en nog betere tiramisu. Alles met een top huiswijn. Super avond!

We are annual regulars here A delightful garden restaurant with great things on the menu This year , as last year the whole evening , was accompanied by the excellent snd very professional waitress skills of Sofia Prompt couteous fine tuned waitressing is becoming rarer as we move forward so its very refreshing to see somone who applies customer centric skills with style, competency and presence
