A very charming restaurant at the end of the Caboto seafront in Gaeta. A very elegant atmosphere where you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes. The friendly service will make you feel right at home—even better. Highly recommended, always.

Excellent food, made with top-quality ingredients expertly prepared and cooked. The wine selection is also excellent. The only negative is that the staff is always cold and aloof, but I think that's a typical trait of the Gaeta area, something I've also encountered at other restaurants.

Simple and welcoming location. Homely service. The place is family-run, and everything here is truly made with love. There's commitment, passion, and love. We had anchovy tart with a chard/escarole filling, which was good, but the anchovy flavor was so strong I had to leave it out, even though I'm used to eating them. Then there were their calamarelle gratin and grilled, which were good, but I felt it lacked something to give the dish a kick, perhaps a sauce to accompany it. It also lacked a pinch of salt. The fried calamari was excellent, perfectly dry, golden, crispy, and the calamari was of the highest quality. The cod parmigiana was my favorite appetizer. Everything was served simply, yet harmoniously. Fried eggplant, raw tomato salad, and cod cooked without any overpowering herbs, which therefore retained its delicious flavor. I really enjoyed this dish. For our first courses, we had seafood risotto, which was excellent; tagliolini with mussels and friggitelli; and spaghetti with lemon and amberjack. The latter was better, creamy and delicate. The amberjack, however, was barely noticeable. The tagliolini with mussels and friggitelli tasted nothing like mussels, unfortunately. The friggitelli flavor was delicious and present. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the pairing is a bad one or if the mussels should be used differently and more forcefully, not just the seafood. I also think this dish is better rosé than white, since when it was served to me, it was anemic, lacking color or creaminess. We didn't order a second course because we weren't impressed with the selection. Then we moved on to desserts, which were FABULOUS. Caprese and raspberry parfait were very good, but the cream and chocolate chip tart was simply excellent. Warm and enveloping cream, crumbly shortcrust pastry, perfect. Absolutely the best dish of the day. Overall, I give the food 4 stars because I think the dishes lack a little extra punch, a wow factor, something that draws you in just by reading the menu. They explained to us that they're very committed to simplicity, but I think it's worth taking a risk every now and then. The service is fast and divided into four people by task. There's the order taker, the dessert taker, the drinks taker, and a waitress. They work together harmoniously. My only criticism of the service is the lack of flexibility when ordering the dishes we wanted; otherwise, everything was perfect. They made us feel pampered, at home. Finally, I want to praise the wine list, which is extensive and offers very interesting choices—I really appreciate it. I'll gladly return, but I hope to find that innovative touch that's missing and that I think would make the place perfect.

Yesterday I tried Rosanna's tiramisu at Acasamia in Gaeta... a unique experience, heaven! 🥹
So good it was moving, a rare delicacy.
I'm not a fan of tiramisu, I never choose it for dessert... but at Acasamia you can never go wrong!

Finalmente qualche giorno fa siamo riusciti a venire in questo ristorante che volevamo provare da tempo e devo dire che ne è valsa davvero la pena. L’ambiente è accogliente e curato nei dettagli, il cibo è ottimo, preparato con ingredienti freschi e genuini. Ogni piatto che abbiamo provato era ben presentato e ricco di sapore.
Un altro punto a favore è l'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. È raro trovare un posto dove si mangia così bene spendendo il giusto.
Un grande merito va anche al personale e ai proprietari sempre
attenti e disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti davvero i benvenuti fin dal primo momento. Si vede che mettono il cuore in quello che fanno, e questo fa davvero la differenza.
Consigliatissimo, ci torneremo sicuramente!
