We went to this restaurant for lunch today for the first time because a friend of mine knew they served dishes from Basilicata. We enjoyed the food, the table service, and the hospitality. Even though it was busy, we could talk without shouting, which certainly made our lunch a peaceful experience. Thanks to Mr. Nino, who is always there to check with the tables to make sure everything is okay.

We had an appetizer for two, and four ate. Then we had four different first courses, each better than the last. The second courses were sublime: braised cheek, pork shank, all the meat tender and flavorful. The desserts were very good. The price... very fair.
Pet friendly, which is very important to us. We had two dogs, and the kind waitress brought a bowl of water. I really appreciated this kind gesture. Thank you so much!

Characteristic place, inside but.... It lacks kindness and friendliness. A few days before I made a reservation for 8 adults and two children, then 10 minutes before entering two of the people had an unexpected event, as soon as we entered we were greeted by, I believe, the head waiter, and immediately informing him of the two fewer people, in a VERY rude and impolite manner, he said to us eh but you could have warned us that two people are changing for me, the table next to us even turned, then of course if I could have foreseen the unexpected I would have been a magician. Furthermore, the endless wait, the meat and the first courses arrived at 2.30 pm, from 1 pm when we were seated. In short, above all, we need to reconsider what courtesy and friendliness mean, which in these environments is the basis of everything. Unfortunately, reading the various reviews it emerged that it is not the first time this has happened.

The atmosphere is original and welcoming. The live view of the kitchen on the big screens is a special highlight, a choice I can't quite agree with. The appetizers are delicious, with a variety of choices, including burrata, ricotta, flan, cheeses, salami, and polenta. The meat is flavorful and quite tender. The jarred tagliata is a bit unusual, especially in its preparation. If you'd like wine, you'll need to choose it yourself from the selection on display and bring it to your table; there's no wine list.
