Positive experience but with reservations. The restaurant is located in the heart of Genzano. The furniture is very beautiful, in an antique style. The menu is traditional Roman but with some modifications to the great classics. The service was normal, waiters not very approachable and slow in clearing the table once the courses were finished. The starter was good but the first courses were a little disappointing, which is not insignificant. The cream of the cacio e pepe is too dense, almost pasty, while the carbonara is surprisingly not very tasty and liquid. The walnut dessert is good. Fair price.

Everything was delicious, from the starters to the spectacular desserts. The dishes are treated in detail and the flavors fully reflect those of the past. The chickpea humus with vegetables took us back to the past 😍 The staff is super professional and welcoming and the prices are very fair. We will definitely return

06/07/2024: This is one of the few "real" old style Roman pizzerias still around. First of all, Alessandro, the owner, is a fantastic person, the place is welcoming and the food is very good, from the first courses to the second courses, not to mention the pizzas, which you can customize as you want. Then there are many themed evenings, which are really fun.

05/08/2024: We found this restaurant a little desperate because we went to two restaurants and they treated us badly. Desperate and hungry we found this restaurant. Nice in a rustic cave with friendly staff. We ate delicious cacio pepe and porcini mushrooms, we also made the slipper with the wafer made from the cheese. Three of us ate the hearty grilled second course. All very good, highly recommended
