A Casa De Nonna In Colleferro

We had dinner with two appetizers, one fried artichokes and another porchetta with warm focaccia, good... and we took the sheep arrosticini for the little girl... they tasted like they were from the fridge, as if they were a bit old... So much so that we left them... then we had two first courses, carbonara which was very creamy, as it should be, for goodness sake, but it left a bitter taste in the mouth, I don't know if it was the burnt bacon, I don't know, and another was fettuccine with artichokes, bacon and pecorino... plus two desserts, chocolate cake and tiramisu, which is not a classic tiramisu but Gentilini biscuits, I think... good but nothing like tiramisu! Obviously we're not from here, but we've tasted better... Average!

I had lunch at this very characteristic place in Colleferro. The atmosphere was refined and clean, and the service was fast and friendly. The dishes were generous, well-seasoned, and very tasty. The tiramisu with Gentilini biscuits was excellent. The prices were reasonable. There are steps to get to the place. Reservations recommended on weekends. Enjoy your meal!

Top traditional dishes; we had appetizers, first courses, side dishes, and desserts, and not a single dish disappointed. Everything was truly delicious. Excellent quality local products. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back. I wish it were my grandmother's house!

On the A1, looking for a place to stop for lunch, I was drawn to this osteria, not far from the Colleferro exit. The rather welcoming veranda, furnished with simple, rustic taste, immediately conveys a "family" atmosphere; this is confirmed by the warm welcome, despite the approaching closing time. The service was attentive and quite prompt: the dishes, typical of local cuisine, were, in my opinion, masterfully prepared: meticulously prepared, but without frills, to provide ample space for a more than satisfying taste experience. The tiramisu with "gentilini" biscuits was delicious; the Cesanese wine from Nonna Franca was excellent, as she has clearly successfully passed on to her grandchildren her passion for good things, prepared with taste and served with a smile. I will definitely return as soon as I can. Thank you
