A Casa De Nonna In Colleferro

We weren't very hungry when we sat down, but when we read the menu, our stomachs opened and we ordered a grandma's appetizer for two, a rigatoni alla zozzona for two, and a porcini mushroom stew for two. A wonderful evening. At Casa De Nonna, quality, tradition, kindness, and professionalism are always a testament. This evening, we sampled traditional dishes with artists (Lucia and Luca), who made it even more interesting, if that were possible, by painting plates that were then raffled off and given to those who attended. So this evening, not only did they nourish their stomachs, but also their spirits with art.

Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience regarding the service. We understand that the restaurant was busy, but it took over an hour to receive a first course. The waiters used the excuse of the appetizer (which we had asked to be brought with the first courses) to justify the excessive delay in receiving the first courses, even after we had specified that we were in a hurry. The waitress insisted on bringing us the two dishes separately instead because that way we would have enjoyed the hot dishes. Other customers who arrived after us were served immediately. After pointing this out to the various waiters, we were told that the restaurant is not a fast food restaurant and that the appetizer had arrived anyway (we did our job of bringing you something, but if you wait an hour for the first courses, it's not our problem). We didn't like the lack of transparency. We would have appreciated it if we had been told right away that there would be a wait or that ordering an appetizer and a first course would have caused delays (all of which a customer arriving at your restaurant cannot know if they are not notified in advance). The artichokes were good, and the first course was nothing to complain about, although the tagliolini portion was a bit small for me. I wouldn't have left a negative review if we'd been told "sorry" or "sorry for what happened" when we got the bill, but we weren't.

A gem in the town of Colleferro, friendliness and quality reign supreme in this wonderful little place. The price is in line with the product, highly recommended for lovers of Roman cuisine and beyond!

We felt right at home. The staff was friendly and professional. The local menu was delicious. If you're ever in the area, you absolutely must try it. Very close and convenient to Magicland and the highway (Colleferro).

The menu is very interesting. Excellent service. Short wait time between dishes. Excellent desserts.

Now a given! Excellent food, good wine, and above all, pampered from start to finish.
