During our stay in San Vito Lo Capo, we had the opportunity to try several restaurants, but Ristorante A Cantunera impressed us from the first moment, so much so that we happily returned three times. The welcome was extraordinary: from the moment you enter, you're greeted by the owner, a charming, friendly, and refined woman who immediately puts guests at ease. The dining room staff, including the owners' daughter, have always been friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and highly professional. The owner, a warm and witty person, contributes with his warmth to creating a family-like and pleasant atmosphere, making every dinner a memorable experience. The cuisine is the real highlight: high-quality ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors that reflect Sicilian tradition with original touches. The mussel soup is unforgettable, rich and flavorful, with just the right touch of garlic. The tuna ragù, prepared fresh, is truly excellent. A special mention also goes to the sweet and sour caponata, made unique by a secret touch that sets it apart from all the others. I highly recommend A Cantunera to all visitors to San Vito Lo Capo: in addition to enjoying excellent cuisine, you'll find wonderful people who will make you feel at home. The staff is truly kind and welcoming. Unlike many other places in San Vito, where they simply tell you they're full, here, even when they're fully booked, they'll put you on the list and call you as soon as a table becomes available. The food is excellent, especially the tiramisu, which is a must-try. Highly recommended!
