Conto d'altri tempi, 30€ a testa. Tutto molto buono, tutto molto vero.

A food show; Simple fixed menu but of incredible authenticity and goodness. Excellent family atmosphere, rich and abundant portions with the possibility of an encore. Unfortunately the waiting list is very long but it's worth it

With about fifteen friends we had dinner in this Trattroroa restaurant inside the simple spartan farmhouse serving typical Ligurian cuisine located on the heights of the Genoese district of San Fruttuoso and with indoor tables in the small internal room while during the summer period there are various outdoor tables in the garden with a wonderful view from above over Genoa and the sea.
Don't rely on Google Maps to get to this restaurant because due to construction currently underway on the route to get there it forces you to pass through Via dell'Orso, a very narrow one-way dead-end road with a very steep climb and for those with a large car it becomes difficult to turn around on the narrow road.
The advice is therefore to take via Donaver from Piazza Solari and then continue along a road that is not narrow and not steep until you park by the church and after about ten minutes on foot you arrive at the restaurant.
We all chose a set menu which included:
various appetizers: cuculli, chard cake, cured meats, Russian salad
First courses: Genoese minestrone and ravioli
Second courses: roast, mashed potatoes, veal with tuna sauce and salad.
For desserts: cinnamon sorbet, meringue and tiramisu.
We liked everything, delicious, delicious and very filling as well as the bread and focaccia.
Welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful staff while the service was attentive and very fast and the prices were really good and competitive!!

Typical Genoese cuisine, delicious and plentiful! The manager Fulvio welcomes with his wife and daughters in a rustic and welcoming environment, you feel at home. A place of the heart in Genoa. Among other things, in a wonderful place like the Madonna del Monte, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the whole city. Price more than fair.

Two very strong sisters who run a very successful family inn. The style is that of a country house with a wood stove and the place is small and welcoming. You enter through a few steps into a large room with a counter on the right and a coffee machine and the tables are arranged so as not to bother anyone. It is certainly not an intimate place, because it fills up easily, so you necessarily have to book. But moving on to the best part: so much blessed food. With the fixed menu formula you can taste different traditional Genoese courses and if there is the possibility you can request an encore. It's home cooking like the one that the grandmother of any Genoese native might serve, so I won't dwell on it, but I must say that I personally have never eaten such a good minestrone and I've eaten many minestrone. Here the harmony between consistencies was perfect: a pureed part and a non-puréed part, which I think were the potatoes, but I'm not sure, a pasta shape that couldn't fit better and finally the scents that come from the soup: the scent of the pesto than with vegetables. If you have never come here, you have to go back and come back for the minestrone without a shadow of a doubt, for the girls who are excellent hosts and for the location of the Capannetta, which is a magical place on the immediate heights of Genoa, which during the day will offer priceless views. Finally, I also loved the Easter cake made by them, the roast and I find the cinnamon sorbet brilliant, as well as very good. There isn't much to recommend about the wines: it's not the classic wine list place, but you can still drink good table wine: in our case a Bonarda. All in all I was really thrilled with it. For those who have never been there, you cannot get by car in front of the entrance door: you need to walk at least ten minutes uphill or downhill depending on where you come from, also because the particularity of the Capannetta de Cianderlin is that all roads in San Fruttuoso lead here!
