Una scoperta fantastica. Nel cuore della campagna ciociara, in un vecchio mulino, lo chef Carmelo Lopes, palermitano, fa anche da oste e delizia con i suoi piatti di pesce, con materia prima di grande qualità e tanta passione. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo anche stati immersi in una bella atmosfera, grazie all'accoglienza ricevuta. Una perfetta trattoria di pesce proprio dove non ve lo aspettereste. Fidatevi dello chef e fatevi consigliare per il menù, ve ne andrete più che soddisfatti. Un grazie infinito anche per il fine cena, arricchito da grappe di grande qualità.

While looking for a fish restaurant, I came across this place with excellent reviews and decided to try it. At first glance, from the outside, you might think you were in the wrong place... definitely rustic, a little isolated... it makes you think. But when you get to know Carmelo and his partner, you begin to understand that you are in the right place. Here I ate sea snails and red mazara prawns for the first time. All very good. Starter, mussels and clams, raw fish, gurnard....the first courses...the desserts....and to finish a delicious stone grappa (also never tasted before). Let the chef advise you. If you are looking for quality raw materials, hospitality and friendliness.... you don't have to go anywhere else.... but only "aside" 😉

We discovered this wonderful place by searching on the internet. Already from the photos you can see the attention to detail an intimate and welcoming place, where you immediately feel at home, with its slightly rustic but truly authentic appearance, unlike many other places we had examined nearby. We were truly impressed by the experience in this restaurant: Chef Carmelo's passion can be perceived in every detail, from the refined taste of each dish to the impeccable presentation. Every bite tells a story of care and dedication, a sign of a deep love for cooking, as well as experience. A detail that we particularly appreciated was that he personally came to open the door and welcome us warmly. This gesture made the evening even more special, making us feel like unique guests. An experience that we recommend to all those looking for quality, attention and a human touch that makes the difference. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location, tranquility, courtesy all surrounded by fantastic dishes, high quality fish dinner, fantastic friendly and courteous staff, makes you feel as if you were at home, I really recommend it, a must try.

Small but charming environment, pampered by the chef who, with true passion and extremely high quality raw materials, advised us on the choice of dishes and wine, also telling some anecdotes from his life. Creativity and tradition well balanced from appetizers to desserts. Optimal!

02/02/2025: Typical cuisine and more. Excellent cheese and pepper. Mixed pasta with cannellini beans from Atina and sublime crunchy bacon. Delicious meatballs and boned chicken leg. Ingredients of the highest order and Cabernet from Atina perfect. Excellent service and bill. Location from a well-kept village tavern located in the beautiful and welcoming historic center of Casalvieri.
22/01/2025: I wandered around the stars a lot... the kindness, the friendliness and the excellent food I found were a discovery. I will definitely return and highly recommend it. A friendly smile makes the difference

Ristorante del Setteventi Agriturismo

10/12/2024: I had the pleasure of dining in a restaurant that, from the point of view of the location, really deserves applause. Immersed in a large green space, with well-kept gardens and an atmosphere that invites relaxation, the place is perfect for those looking for an escape from the daily frenzy. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the food, at least for now, because I reserve the right to give it another chance. Although expectations were high, given the quality of the location and the attention to service, the dinner did not fully meet my expectations. If the location is certainly a strong point that encourages me to return, my final rating for the food is 7 out of 10. The mixed platter of cold cuts and cheeses, cold salads, hot soups and various delicacies (20.00 euros) is a classic of the Italian table, therefore simple and good, the venison fillet in sauce (an off-menu dish whose price I don't remember), well paired with the accompanying sauce, was tender and delicate, while the semi-glazed cinnamon beef cheek (20.00 euros), recommended by a waitress as particularly soft meat that melted in the mouth, was anything but butter, in fact I found it really difficult to chew, stringy and too firm (perhaps due to a cooking problem). Instead, the chef's cappuccino, as a treat at the end of the meal at 7.00 euros, was a pleasant alternative to coffee. Could I have the second meat course taken back? Reasonably yes, it would have been correct, but I didn't feel like ruining the evening.
17/11/2024: Lunch at the luxury agriturismo was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all expectations. The refined cuisine is the pride of this place: each dish tells a story of authentic flavors, made with the highest quality ingredients, many of which are zero kilometer. The presentations were impeccable and the perfectly balanced flavors gave a beautiful gastronomic experience. The staff was equally exceptional: professional, attentive and discreet. Always ready to satisfy every need, they made the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxed, while maintaining an impeccable standard of service. The environment is cared for in the smallest details, elegant but welcoming, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. It is the perfect place to indulge in a break of pure pleasure, far from the daily frenzy. I highly recommend this agriturismo to anyone looking for a high-level culinary experience immersed in a unique and refined context. I will definitely be back!
