A great and rustic fish restaurant in downtown Padova. Lovely atmosphere and good service. This is what good Italian food should be like. Excellent grappa. 4.5 points overall, so 5 points.

Given that I know both the Giol winery well (I live about 10 km away...) and the prosecco with the sediment (drank several times in San Stefano di Barbozza), the waiter suggested it to me: but to the table he brought something that vaguely resembles it, still a good white, but absolutely not a prosecco with the sediment (as I presume from the bill...).

Tipica osteria e grapperia nel centro storico di Padova, dove è difficile trovare il parcheggio per l'automobile. Infatti sul lato sinistro della tovaglietta di carta c'è scritto addirittura dal 1947 non si trova parcheggio. Per il pranzo abbiamo scelto un tavolo nella veranda vista la giornata prettamente estiva. Spunciotti, bigoli, baccalà e prosecco la fanno da padrone. Gradevole atmosfera e piacevole pranzo.

A very atmospheric and pleasant place. Located in a beautiful part of Padua. Affordable menu, moderate prices. The food was very good, delicious and fresh fried fish. Everyone enjoyed the risotto. A large selection of wines at affordable prices, unfortunately no home wine in carafes.

Caratteristico locale sotto i portici, con pochi posti, personale gentilissimo. Il cibo è molto buono (abbondante il piatto del contadino con verdure, polenta e tomino, 15€; meno abbondante il piatto di spuncioni, 20 €). Ottima la scelta e selezione dei vini.
