19/01/2025: Let me start by saying that I tried the place twice, about 6 months apart, ordering different products (always for delivery).
The menu is very vast and ranges from burgers, sandwiches to Tex-Mex products, which makes it difficult if not impossible to guarantee medium-high quality, but we'll get to that later.
The sandwich I got (Oklahoma smash) was not in fact a real smash, it was a classic double patty with onions and cheese in a bun that fell apart at the third bite, the flavour, although discreet, was completely anonymous, a hackneyed flavor that we find it in 90% of the hamburger shops in circulation, the main problem however, as we will also see for the other products, is the price. 16.90 euros for a sandwich with chips (included and non-deductible) of this quality is really too much, there are places in Padua that offer incomparable quality for 5 euros less.
The second product I tried were the Cheddar & Bacon chips at the modest price of 7.50 euros, which in my opinion from a food cost point of view, is unjustifiable. Bacon very present but cheddar completely absent, I don't know if there was an error in my order but the cheddar wasn't there at all, at least the chips were salted just right and crunchy enough (which in any case doesn't justify in any way 7.50 euros for 300 grams of industrial chips and a pack of bacon).
I also tried the Spicy Nachos (8 euros) and the Popcorn Chicken (7.50 euros) about which I don't have much to say, very common nachos from the supermarket with a handful of different vegetables and sauces but otherwise passable (absolutely not worth 8 euros) and chicken is crunchy but totally dry and tasteless.
I also tried a dessert, the peanut tiramisu, which wasn't bad, except that I paid 6.50 euros for 2 spoonfuls which is objectively ridiculous.
In conclusion, Hamerica's is an anonymous fast food restaurant like many others, but with prices that your wallet won't soon forget, the quality is, in fact, generally medium-low and in no way competes with the competition present in the city in terms of quality-price ratio. I think the reason why it is so popular is to be found in the vastness of products offered which, however, ultimately leave a little behind.
Good for a nice evening in company with friends or family, but if you want to eat well go elsewhere.
15/01/2025: Very good veggie burger. I recommend making a reservation and arriving prepared for the strong smell of grilled meat as it is not a very large place and with the kitchens very close to the tables.
In any case I recommend it.
