40° Parallelo In Otranto

Small restaurant located on the seafront, very rustic but with its own charm! Very friendly and helpful staff, very high quality fresh fish (I ate a trio of tartare and mixed raw fish) and very good fried food. Average price for the place.

A friendly place but with an excellent quality of fish. Also suitable for those who cannot eat gluten... fried with rice flour (fried in a separate fryer or in an air fryer)! I highly recommend

I got a tuna tartare to take away here. Certainly not the usual take-away dish, but everything was lovingly garnished with a bed of lettuce in a cardboard box and handed to me in a prepared paper bag after a short preparation time, including cutlery (also for my companion), bread, salt and olive oil. That was really great! The fish was of good quality and prepared in a rather purist manner. Personally, I like it, but perhaps you could be a little more generous with the spices when preparing it. All in all, it was a fair price. I was satisfied and will definitely stop by again when I'm here again. Then I enjoy the view from one of the high tables in front of the small restaurant and try a few of the other dishes on site. It's certainly not a place for a fine dining experience, but that's not what you expect here.

Place run by a young couple, very attentive to customer requests, very kind and friendly. Ordered fried anchovies and fried calamari and prawns, cooked very well, nice and dry, not greasy and fresh, not to mention the fried octopus, what can I say "excellent" All accompanied by a good prosecco wine! If you are traveling around Otranto you should have lunch or dinner in this little outdoor restaurant, facing the sea. Highly recommended.

The intention was to have an aperitif but reading the menu made us want to have lunch. Super welcome, delicious food and incredible view. Highly recommended

Pucce, fries and poke in the background the sea and the port of Otranto. The food defends itself well, good but nothing exceptional. We tried the fried anchovies and calamari and an octopus sandwich. Adequate portions, rich filling of the sandwich. It has some high tables with stools on the waterfront, incredible view and comfortable breeze: but this is not their credit! Theirs: very kind and attentive to your experience. Prices in line with the rest of the venues. Also recommended for takeaway.

Passeggiando per il corso principale, ci siamo fermati in questo locale. Location esterna sul golfo piacevole, non ha posti interni. Abbiamo ordinato un panino con polpo fritto e una frittura calamari e gamberi tutto buono, 2 aranciate. Costo nella norma 35€ Personale gentilissimo. Un piccolo neo non dispone di bagno. Da provare lo consiglio.

Passeggiando sul lungomare di Otranto si trova questo piccolo locale con pochi posti a sedere all esterno . Proprietari gentili, mise en place essenziale. Buonissima la tartare di gamberi e ottima la frittura il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosato di uve negroamaro Tenuta Merico Musivo. Buonissimo l olio del Salento proposto per condire la tartare. Prezzi giusti.
