Beautiful church with a wonderful ceiling

The only church in Viterbo that survived in its original medieval form the centuries and well worth a visit. The frescos on the wall still have vivid colours. The most interesting item in the church is the triptych painted on leather. But the stone pulpit on the outside, from which Thomas of Aquino has preached in the 13th century, is special too

Una emozione enorme entrare in questa chiesa romanica piena di affreschi sublimi. Ieri la presentazione del oratorio di Santa Rosa un concerto unico . Apertura del festival di musica barocca.

30/03/2024: Five stars deserved! Welcoming environment, smiling staff, truly quality food. In our case: grandmother's appetizer, spaghetti carbonara, lombrichielli cacio e pepe and angerata, grilled meat and finally tiramisu and trifle. Everything excellent.
07/03/2024: I had lunch with a friend... very good dishes. We had starters and pasta which were really good... the only downside was the very long wait for the dishes.
