12/08/2025: After making the wise decision not to stop at Rifugio Romeno, we received a very friendly welcome on our way back. The service was friendly and very attentive, and the food was excellent and freshly prepared! Every waiter and waitress wished us bon appetit as they passed us.
We'd be happy to return!
12/08/2025: A very nice hut on the Mendel. Despite the lack of a view, we had a very nice meal here. The prices are reasonable, and we received a very warm welcome. I had the Kaiserschmarrn, which was excellent.

02/05/2025: Con alcuni amici, trovandoci in zona, abbiamo pensato di fare una escursione da Cavareno ai laghetti di Ruffré, il tutto intervallato da una piacevole sosta per il pranzo presso l’Agritur Coflari Ranch. Siamo stati fortunati e, anche per la bellissima giornata, abbiamo potuto pranzare all’aperto. Il posto é molto gradevole, tenuto molto bene ed accogliente. Buono il servizio, i piatti (molto abbondandi) si sono confermati gustosi e pienamente rispettosi della migliore tradizione trentina (tortei di patate, carne salada e cavolo cappuccio con speck, é stata la nostra scelta). Il prezzo contenuto e rispondente alle caratteristiche e qualità delle materie prime. Una ottima esperienza, in un tranquillo e bellissimo contesto.

04/08/2025: The food was excellent, the prices very affordable, all in a beautiful, rustic, and very peaceful setting.
The owners are very warm and take the time to do things well and serve us properly. We left a little after the end of the service, but they patiently waited for us to finish our meal. We all chatted together before leaving, and it was a very pleasant experience.
We hope to have the opportunity to return here on our next trip to Italy.
26/07/2025: A typical Trentino restaurant with a charming and quaint atmosphere in the small village of Ruffrè, easily accessible.
We stopped for dinner one evening, and although it was a bit late for the area (8:45 PM), we were greeted with great courtesy. The cuisine is typical of the area and very good; I highly recommend a visit. Dogs are welcome.

07/09/2024: Non avendo molte alternative ci siamo fermati, anche perché invogliato dal menù esposto lungo il sentiero e anche a circa 100mt dal locale. Peccato che una volta entrati e seduti abbiamo scoperto che parte del menù non era disponibile. Cibo buono, niente di che, servizio scarso, abbiamo ordinato tagliere per ingannare attesa e ci è arrivato dopo i piatti ordinati, insalata di cavolo cappuccio......non pervenuta. Prezzo troppo alto

Panorama Hotel Penegal Restaurant

02/06/2024: Arrivati in cima dopo una bella passeggiata vediamo questo hotel-ristorante... Se non fosse stato pieno di moto avremmo pensato fosse chiuso. In realtà entrando si raggiunge la terrazza che ha una vista mozzafiato sulla vallata e sul lago di Caldaro.
I prezzi forse sono un po' alti, ma ne è valsa la pena.
Risotto all'aglio orsono con formaggio di capra fresco e spezzatino di cervo con polenta: buonissimi.
I dessert anche molto buoni.
Gentilissimi con il nostro cane che ha subito ricevuto dell'acqua senza chiedere.
Torneremo sicuramente.
