19/12/2025: A great place to relax while skiing or snowboarding. You can communicate with the staff in Polish. This isn't surprising, as there are plenty of Polish club scarves and jerseys inside. There's even a Małgorzata Dydek jersey from the WNBA All-Stars game. Considering the location, the prices aren't too high, and the smallest pizza (enough for my wife and I) costs around 15 euros.

23/01/2026: The best pasta ragù I've ever eaten! Pizza Dolomitica will complete your Val di Sole experience. And don't leave without trying the tiramisu and delicious wine from the local vineyards. Be sure to stop by and reserve a table in advance. It's a cult and crowded place.

10/08/2025: Great for après-ski! It's especially nice when evening falls and the crowds die down. The music might be a bit loud, but there are areas where you can't really hear it.
27/07/2025: I've known this refuge for years; we often went there because we had friends staying there while we stayed in a nearby hotel.
It was always a pleasure to join them for a chat or a drink with friends.
We returned this year with great pleasure: after enjoying some excellent aperitifs, we decided to stay for dinner as well.
We went up by snowmobile, a truly fun and evocative experience that made the evening even more special.
The food is good, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the location... enchanting, to say the least.
A refuge that offers true emotions in the middle of the mountains.

10/01/2026: Everything was excellent! The restaurant, bar, and hotel staff were all very attentive and friendly. Also, if you're going skiing, it's the perfect place to stay since it's just a two-minute walk from the Folgarida ski lift.
08/01/2026: I discovered this hotel over 20 years ago.... It never disappoints. The staff is incredibly friendly, it feels like family. Andrea, one of the dining room managers, is special! He comes with the right joke or gesture at the right time. I don't want to take away from the skill of everyone, but I mean ALL the other staff. The food is delicious, both at dinner and breakfast.

Speedy service despite the movement of workers for a quick lunch... to return on the next passage to the wonderful Val di Sole.... Thank you very much

Hotel Alaska Restaurant

07/12/2025: Probably a good restaurant, but the service was under any standard. We were waiting more than half an hour to be able to order just few drinks. Waiters were asked by us twice to receive the order, but they ignored us completely. After 40 minutes we left and changed for another chalet where the service was nice and immidiate (Marilleva 1400 bar).
15/10/2025: It was one of the best vacations of our lives, and this is undoubtedly thanks in large part to the entire staff at the Alaska Hotel, who made us feel at home for two whole weeks, even with a newborn in tow. Kindness and attention to detail, not to mention the Michelin-starred cuisine. Thank you for everything, and keep up the good work.

Warm and cozy room, comfortable bed, excellent cleanliness. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. A ski room with a phone for ski boots is a welcome addition.

The breakfast staff was friendly, and the food selection was adequate; there could have been a little more.
I didn't think it was fair to pay the same price I would have paid on Booking.com, knowing I'd booked the room directly with the front desk and therefore they didn't have to pay a percentage to the booking platform.
Furthermore, there's ample parking and varied breakfast times.
