22/03/2025: In the middle of nowhere just outside Bassano del Grappa there is a Mr. Local who on a Monday evening was able to offer a great satisfaction. Let it be clear that without GMaps we would never have been able to find it and obviously the choice fell on the restaurant with the most reviews in the area: L'antica Abbazia. A place full of people for a beautiful, large and organized place. Between Burgers, cuisine and pizza the choice is wide and the quality, at least that of the pizza, is remarkable. Marked in the local favorites to test their cuisine. Well done!
19/03/2025: I'll start by saying that the food was good and the place was well-kept, even if it was a bit cold and the bathrooms were cramped and not adequate for the size of the place (luckily there weren't many people). What was absurd was the service! All sorts of things happened...waitresses arguing with each other at the table, dishes arriving in an absolutely confusing way (a large table with kitchen and pizza) because some pizzas arrived 7/8 minutes before the others and the kitchen was completely forgotten. In fact, after an appetizer that arrived at the same time as the pizza, the second course arrived at least 15 minutes after we had ALL finished the pizza. And after 2 reminders. Finally, I'll add that we had to ask for a jug of beer 4 times and it arrived when we had practically finished the pizza. Luckily, we are from Veneto and it didn't go to waste.
Unanimous opinion of the table (25 people): never again!
P.S. for the whole table, 2 little bags of bread with 3 slices inside?!? Are you kidding?!? See the photo...

14/02/2025: SERVICE REVIEW:
The dining room staff at this place is made up only of very young, inexperienced and poorly educated kids. We ordered a dish from the menu but another one arrived without informing us that the dish ordered had no longer been on the menu for a year (it was still written on the menu!) and they didn't even apologize, making us think about what had happened... madness.
The dirty plates from the previous courses were never cleared away, nor the wine glasses that we had not used, nor the two glasses of spritz that we had taken before the starter... our table was a real mess.
We asked for the dessert menu and after giving us a rude answer, it was never given to us and the waiter no longer bothered to stop by our table.
We noticed incredible incompetence and confusion on the part of all the staff, so much so that, when it was time to pay, we remained stopped in front of the cashier for several minutes without even receiving a nod from any of the many waiters who continually passed by.
FOOD REVIEW:
The two Aperol spritzes were watered down, and with low quality prosecco.
The spaghetti was overcooked and seemed to be one with the fish sauce.
The beef tartare was definitely not fresh and tasted like rubber.
We were attracted by the low prices, but we had the worst Valentine's Day ever. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
11/02/2025: The environment would also be nice, the service leaves something to be desired, we arrived they gave us the table and after half an hour they came to ask you what to order, the food kept coming to me all day..

27/12/2024: Location davvero bella, ampie vetrate su un panorama fantastico, travi a vista, legno dappertutto stile chalet di montagna. Personale disponibile e attento, primi ottimi cucinati molto bene, soprattutto i risotti, carne top. In serata abbiamo provato anche le pizze, buonissime e con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Assolutamente consigliato senza alcun dubbio, conto nella media e in linea con la qualità dei prodotti.
25/12/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per la prima volta per il pranzo di Natale. Location caratteristica, simile ad un posto tipico di montagna, con travi in legno. Spazio all’aperto con la visuale del Monte Grappa, da apprezzare sicuramente una sera d’estate. Essendo un giorno di festa con tanti ospiti, mi aspettavo un pranzo nella media. Invece, è stato eccellente. Dall’antipasto di benvenuto al bis di primi, dal secondo al dessert, tutto di qualità e dal gusto delicato. Cito il Risotto alla zucca e chiodini cotto al dente e la spalla di vitello tenerissima al taglio. Assortimento continuo di pane tostato con sale e prezzemolo.
L’organizzazione è stata impeccabile. Nessuna lunga attesa tra una portata e l’altra, personale gentilissimo e attento ad ogni minimo particolare, veloce nel servizio.
Il prezzo onesto e coerente con tutta l’offerta.
Ci torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione e senza dubbio per una cena estiva all’aperto.
