23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

La Frana

20/02/2026: We arrived at "La Frana" on the recommendation of our landlady. It was late and out of season, yet the lovely staff were quick to serve us excellent fresh fish, a perfect, dry and delicate fried calamari, and an excellent house tagliolini. The beef and potatoes were also carefully prepared. We had a great time, comfortable, and left satisfied even after seeing and paying the bill. Seeing is believing. 🥂

27/04/2025: Ho messo 5/5 perché la cucina di Vento in poppa mi ha lasciato senza parole.
Il pescato fresco si sente, mia moglie ha assaggiato il loro antipasto di tartare di tonno con l’avocado mentre io ho preso il primo di gnocchetti con crostacei, successivamente ci siamo divisi la zuppetta di molluschi…che dire piatti generosi e saporiti, prezzi più che giustificati anche dal buon vino servitoci dal personale professionale e simpatico.
Torneremo sicuramente.
