04/06/2025: Nous y sommes arrivés par hasard, on avait une petite faim.
Vue magnifique sur le lac d’Orta, deux salades commandées, à assaisonner à notre convenance. Rien de transcendant mais correct, avec un accueil plutôt sympathique et un service rapide. Vu la proximité avec le centre du village d’Orta très touristique, c’était très bien.
29/05/2025: I ate a good pizza with buffalo mozzarella, thin. The place is in a very good location, outside the center (I parked the motorcycle and before entering the tourist area I had lunch, place with internal rooms and garden with elevated position on the lake) I suggest booking and I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt!

05/06/2025: In May the restaurant starts to get crowded due to the presence of many tourists. The one next door is closed so we have some doubts whether there is room even for just two people. Instead we are made to sit inside and even on the veranda with a view of the lake. We are amazed by the contrast between the oilcloth tablecloth and the cloth napkins. The menu options are inviting and we order two appetizers with scallops and avocado pulp, a Milanese risotto with melted cheese and a plate of spaghetti with clams (which should have been tagliolini according to the menu) and two pistachio Bavarian creams, all accompanied by two glasses of Ribolla bianco. All the dishes are very successful and well presented. Courteous service that continued well beyond 3:00 pm and prices in line with the quality of the food and the tourist location. In conclusion, better than expected, with a few flaws.
30/05/2025: Super nice spot right on the lake with a view of the island, delicious pizza, and perfectly reasonable prices. Not a tourist trap, just really good 🙂

Today I was simply ripped off in this café. I ordered a Bianca Della Casa twice in a row, just normal house wine – I thought. But when I saw the bill, I was astonished: the bill was for a more expensive wine...!! (Bicchiere Arneis)
When I asked, the waiter explained to me that he had asked me in Italian whether I wanted exactly this (more expensive) wine. Although when I first ordered I showed exactly which wine I would like...
To me, this smells a lot like a scam: deliberately misleading customers in order to collect more in the end. Not an oversight, but deliberate deception.
Tip: Request the invoice when ordering!!!! Then you can immediately see whether everything is correct with your order!
04/05/2025: Magnificent view of the lake and the square, the pizzas are good and the service was as fast as it was pleasant!
I recommend 👍🏼 especially on the terrace if the weather is nice 🌞
