01/02/2025: We had a wonderful evening last night at Il Cresciolo! The restaurant often organizes themed evenings, and this time it was dedicated to stockfish. The first course was a delicious plate of ciavattoni with stockfish in a red sauce, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. As a second course, Ancona-style stockfish with stewed potatoes: the sauce was so good that everyone was chomping at the bit! To conclude, we were served white and chocolate cantucci together with the ugly and good ones, all homemade. All accompanied by an excellent Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, which perfectly enhanced each course. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere of the place was a perfect mix of rustic and modern. Offagna, with its medieval village charm, adds a magical touch to the experience. Absolutely must try!
