25/01/2025: I always came here when I lived in Somma and after years of moving I go back occasionally, they now know me and greet me willingly, they have always been very kind and their sandwich and pizza are always impeccable
22/01/2025: It was really so good, their kebab, 4 cheese pizza and I really enjoyed their delicious Baklawa.
Everything was clean. The staff was friendly.

06/03/2025: We had booked a B&B around the corner for the night before the flight home. By chance I saw Samarcanda on the street map. We were very lucky that there were still 2 places available. The food was fantastic. We had a classic Cabonara for starters. But the first in my life, really and not a German version. Simple dish but balanced to perfection. It was extremely tasty. For my second course I had the Argentinian steak. Bomb, even though it was already medium and I had ordered it a little juicier, it was great. My wife had a swordfish with capers, olives and tomatoes. Also class. Instead of fries, I got a side salad that seemed like something fresh from the garden. Very good. I was very satisfied and we had a really well-rounded end to our short vacation.
Why I deducted a point for the ambience: it was a bit loud at times in the glass box in which we sat. The sound is hardly absorbed and distributed by the few and thin curtains. Things seemed more pleasant in the other parts of the restaurant. But I was grateful for the good food and that we even got a place because people come from all over the world to eat there again and again, the place is booming... I would like to have just as good food around the corner from my home...

18/02/2025: Pizzeria with kitchen, in summer it is possible to eat on the outdoor patio. The pizza is excellent and the service is timely. Even for takeaway, the pizzas are ready at the requested time. Reservation recommended to eat there, and I would say mandatory for takeaway.
04/02/2025: In a family environment they welcomed us with a beautiful smile and a lot of kindness. Fast, clean environment and good pizza. If you're in the area, give it a try

11/09/2024: We were staying overnight at Dolce Wyndham 10 minutes walk away. We wanted some pizza and noted the great reviews of this place. They were not wrong, the wood fired pizza"s were first rate. Delicious.! Owner is a great person and happy to have a chat. Prices a very good. Highly recommend.

13/08/2023: Mi trovo a Gallarate in un'afosa giornata di agosto alla disperata ricerca di un ristorante.
Purtroppo tutti quelli che vedo sono chiusi.
“Saracinesca selvaggia !” penso tra me e me.
Incredibilmente vedo un vigile urbano, che mi appare come un miraggio in questo calderone estivo.
Chiedo a lui.
“Oggi ci sono aperti solo alcuni bar che fanno anche dei piattini al microonde” mi risponde.
“ Ma io desidererei un pranzo tradizionale” replico (visto che paga la Ditta!)
“Allora le consiglio il ristorante Monnalisa dell'Hotel Tre Leoni sul viale della stazione di di Somma Lombardo; sono solo 8 km da qui.”
Penso maliziosamente: “Sarà sicuramente suo cugino!” però decido di azzardare.
Raggiungo il luogo e devo ricredermi.
C'è un salone con almeno ottanta coperti; tovaglie e tovaglioli di stoffa, sedute comode anche se un po' datate e arredo tradizionale e dignitoso.
C'è sia il menu fisso di lavoro sia alla carta, con ampia scelta sia di terra sia di mare.
Inoltre è anche pizzeria.
Prezzi onesti.
Non sto a descrivere il menu che ho consumato ma confermo la dritta del viglie.
Pienamente soddisfatto.
Parlando col gestore, peraltro gentilissimo, apprendo che lavora come hotel più che altro con i passaggi da Malpensa.
Molti arrivano qui col treno dormono una notte e raggiungono l'aeroporto che dista 7 km col pulmino dell'albergo.

27/02/2024: Grazioso negozietto con prodotti da Forno artigianali; di passaggio per lavoro ho acquistato della pizza e della focaccia per pranzo al sacco e del pane per casa...ottimo direi anche rapporto qualità/prezzo. Non il solito pane gommoso e le pizzette sono favolose!
Saprò dove recarmi in prossima occasione di passaggio.
