18/03/2026: It was a negative experience first of all. There is no parking, the place is underground and can be reached via a staircase which is very uncomfortable for the elderly, children and disabled people. The staff is unprepared for particular dietary needs such as celiac disease. The pizza was a bit difficult to digest.
13/03/2026: We had only just arrived in Ercolano after an extremely early start from the UK so we ate very early and were the only people in the restaurant so can't comment on atmosphere. The service was excellent. Waitress very helpful as our Italian is non- existent. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

16/02/2026: This place deserves a much higher rating than it has. Best pizza I have had in a week in Ercolano, by far.
I went into the restaurant because it was Sunday night, and almost nowhere else was open. I had avoided it for a week because it looks touristy from the outside, but it actually is not touristy inside. Not much English is spoken, and you will see drinks and condiments that you don't see in tourist joints.
Quiet and romantic inside. Best wine I have had in Ercolano, thanks to the server's suggestion. Make sure you try the incredible pepper oil, which the average American won't find "spicy" as the restaurant calls it, but very tasty.

02/06/2025: Bar, ristorante e pizzeria a 10 minuti dagli scavi. Ambiente informale, servizio alla mano, tempi di attesa un po’ lunghi e prezzi un po’ sopra la media. In compenso ottima pizza

31/10/2024: Aléjate y ve al lugar literalmente a la vuelta de la esquina por la entrada a las ruinas. La comida era muy pobre. El personal no era amable y la señora era como Nessa de Gavin y Stacey fumando junto a nuestra mesa. Y sólo se llevan dinero. Aléjate y como dije ve a la pizzería de la esquina.
22/08/2024: Pessima pizza servita cruda con ingredienti di bassa qualità. Non emettono scontrino e scrivono il conto su un pezzo di carta. EVITATELO. Avessi letto le recensioni, non mi sarei seduta in questa pizzeria.
