06/07/2025: When you first enter, the server will look you up and down.
They say that all the places with good views are reserved, so they give you the corner seat.
The trap is that more than half of the places with good views are empty.
06/07/2025: Nice setting with lovely views. We both went for pizza - Quattro Fromaggi and a Calzone. Both were excellent and huge! Service was basic, not the charming conversational service we’ve had everywhere else. What would you like, here it is, here’s the bill. Bye. A smile makes a big difference.

Loved this place. Locals recommended it. Pizzas and calzones were the standout dishes. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Bistecca Balsamico
03/07/2025: one of the few (and last) places where you can still eat decently in Capri at reasonable prices and with kind and serious staff. Last bastions on an island now totally subservient to plutometric and chavardo tourism.

15/07/2025: Absolutely perfect. You can't leave Capri without visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic, and the location is typical of Capri. The food is generous, and there's a lot of it, so be prepared to eat well and leave satisfied. I've never had such good bruschetta in my life. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations.

26/06/2025: Phew, that was really nothing. It's a bit like a village pub with bad food. A disgrace, especially for Italian cuisine. Not worth it.
26/06/2025: We booked for dinner, so we didn't wait long. We had two first courses and two waters and spent €43.00, a great price for Capri. We ate really well and the portions were filling. The view was beautiful.

23/06/2025: Best restaurant in Marina Grande.
On the port, a little away from the crowds, on the way to the Marina di Capri, the private port. Pasta, fish, and pizzas are of a good standard. Friendly service, especially from Saidi, the Egyptian who can get a little carried away with certain dishes. In the evening, everything is quieter, the service is more relaxed, and the atmosphere is great. Prices are the same as in Capri, so check the menu carefully before ordering fish or shellfish.

28/05/2025: We had dinner here our first night on Capri. Just walking by, was taken in by the greeter taking my wife to view the fresh fish in a case by the kitchen, and she was sold. And of course, had that as her dinner.
Staff, both plentiful and attentive, were really great. Quite helpful with translations, and tolerant of my poor Italian language skills, with humor.
This was the most expensive dinner of our trip, but I don't regret it, as the experience was worth it.
Drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert came to 165 euros, and reviewing the bill after the fact, I noticed 'coperto' which is apparently a cover charge of sorts. There was a live musician, and we were given 'free' snack with our drinks, so that's the likely explanation.
Drinks on the costlier side, compared to all of our other experiences. Campari Spritz at 16 euro, as an example.
Delicious Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella to start, a nice personal pizza and the special fish (50 euro, we didn't ask pricing at the time of the order) and a lemon sorbet to finish. Again, service was VERY attentive and competent; probably the best of the whole trip, and combined with atmosphere and all that went into what was a magical evening (it's Capri, after all) really added up to a great night.

Obviamente, la comida se preparó con antelación y no del nivel que se esperaría de una experiencia de cantidad. No te recomendaríamos este restaurante. Investiga otras opciones.

The drinks are delicious, however, they use misleading advertising. The drinks are listed at a price on the menu. You order them, and when it's time to pay, they charge you more without warning, claiming they served you the large glass even though the one listed on the menu was the small one.
26/06/2025: I didn't read the reviews before sitting here and I regret it, warm beer with a ridiculous price, 24 euro pasta with an amount for a small child, and worst of all the pizza I ordered with prawns (shrimp) came unpeeled with glue and covered in plastic, I told them and they don't care, the only good thing about the restaurant is the attention of the waitress who served us who gave us good service, otherwise it was horrible! I do not recommend it

05/01/2025: Unfortunately it is not possible to give a rating more negative than one star, but the quality of the service offered is offensive to catering in general.
Two sandwiches that should have had salami, provola, tomato and salad inside, actually arrived practically empty. About 20 centimeters long, they were stuffed with 4 very thin slices of salami, 2 very thin (almost invisible) slices of provola, 2 pieces (not even leaves) of lettuce and a wedge of tomato. Presented on a plate with a tuft of salad alongside and two Coca Cola drinks... I paid a total of 38 euros. I am well aware of being in Capri: here it is not a question of price, but a question of honesty towards the customer. After paying, I said the exact same things to the people at the checkout, who listened to me without saying a word.
Ah, we even waited half an hour!!

25/03/2025: We had lunch here in Sept 2022. I’m mostly writing a review on behalf of my husband who ordered Pizza Caprese. I’m his words, “I have never had a pizza like this. This is the best pizza I’ve ever had. I cannot get that pizza out of my head. I would go back to Capris just for that Pizza.”
Being used to seeing below average tourist spots in New York City, we were biased that this restaurant would have mediocre overprice tourist food. To our surprise, the food was amazing. I had risotto which was fantastic but the Pizza Caprese was the winner: fresh dough, mozzarella, and tomato. Simple Beauty.

02/08/2024: Excellent service in a nice and clean restaurant with good space. We got a nice and clean table. The air condition makes the restaurant a welcome break from the outside heat. Very skilled, attentive and friendly waiters. We ordered four different pizzas, all very tasty and nice. They came quickly after we ordered.
Highly recommended for families and all others.
26/07/2024: Su consiglio di parenti siamo andati in questo ristorante ma mi aspettavo di più. Gli gnocchi alla sorrentina erano con poca mozzarella e tutto sugo. La delizia al imone non gustosa. Purtroppo a Capri pensano che siccome ci vanno i turisti li trattano da turisti, per non parlare dei prezzi molto alti.

02/04/2025: Éramos un grupo escolar de 31 traídos aquí para el almuerzo por nuestro guía. El precio era de 22 euros por persona por lo que conseguimos una bebida, un poco de pan, dos platos de pasta (penne y raviolis) servidos en un plato y una cucharada de helado. La pasta estaba bastante sabrosa y servida con bastante generosidad. El personal era amable, el servicio era bueno y la vista desde el restaurante es absolutamente encantador. Este fue el único lugar que comimos en Capri, así que no puedo decir si el costo era bueno o no; se sentía un poco alto, pero tal vez ese es solo el lugar. (Tampoco me di cuenta de la historia del restaurante de antemano, tal vez eso afecta un poco el precio).
22/11/2024: Este restaurante en realidad me sorprendió a mí y mis expectativas. Era un bonito restaurante al aire libre y la decoración era preciosa. Hacía mucho calor cuando estuve en Capri, pero el aire libre y los fans hicieron todo lo posible. Teníamos una cantidad limitada de vino, pero las botellas eran tan grandes que podría haber sido ilimitado. Me sorprendió mucho la comida. Los canelones eran absolutamente deliciosos y los favoritos de todos. Tuve que reírme del pollo parmesano. Cuando había hecho una gira gastronómica en Roma un par de semanas antes mencionaron que Italia no hace parmesano de pollo a menos que sea para turistas.
