07/03/2024: An appetizer and two first courses served in almost two hours. The food is mediocre but following the disproportionate expectations the experience is disappointing. The peak of discomfort is reached at the moment of payment, in which we politely point out the somewhat excessive wait and we are answered with not so politeness. We are made to understand that waiting times of this caliber are "normal" and we are dismissed with rudeness. The bill is decidedly disproportionate for the quality, the treatment of the customer leaves a bad taste in the mouth, terrible.
In conclusion very inconvenient to reach, food not up to the high prices and ABOVE ALL
gratuitous rudeness towards the customer.
Absolutely not recommended.

24/03/2024: The place is dated, clean, we appreciated the cotton tablecloths which are no longer found in many places. Good pizza. The service was fast and friendly. The only note in my opinion would be a good thing if they fixed up the outdoor area as it is very messy and doesn't make you want to enter. For the rest we were fine.

then you can appreciate care, quality and mastery in the preparation and cooking of fish!
raw or cooked, you can never go wrong, in this place hidden from the streets a pearl of quality often appears.
I'm just sorry that my mood and personal situation didn't allow me to fully appreciate lunch😔but thank you for your understanding, professionalism and courtesy.
All seasoned with a great love for animals and art.
I hope to be able to return and complete that unfinished lunch...

26/03/2024: Historic restaurant, open for many years now, serving fresh fish.
A little out of the way, you have to get to know it as it is definitely not on a main road.
I'll start straight away with: don't expect service or an environment like a starred restaurant, because they aren't. They are definitely more "down to earth" and homely, which isn't a bad thing. Maybe a little too indulgent but the quality of the food is impeccable.
The fish is purchased directly every morning from the owner so there is no menu card. It varies from raw salmon, tuna, prawns... to grilled fish and shellfish, to fried foods, molluscs (raw oysters and mussels) and so on.
We returned after years and the quality has not dropped, just the portions slightly. Which is understandable anyway.
For those who write in the reviews that the gratinti (delicious) are cold, they are probably used to literally eating lava.

23/03/2024: True Greek cuisine in the center of the central Via Balbi.
The location is particularly pleasant also for the fact that it is sometimes a little secluded, despite its central, almost intimate location, especially if you sit outside.
The rice rolls wrapped in vine leaves are excellent, as is their moussakà, which is truly rich, but each dish faithfully reflects the Hellenic tradition, starting from the appetizers, and also offering a wide choice of typical wines capable of satisfying even the most demanding palates. demanding, while also including good quality and more than affordable bottles in the list.
Personally I recommend the two mixed meat grills, with lamb, chicken, pork, potatoes and tzatziki as a side dish.
They don't serve coffee, but you can easily get it in the bar next door!

23/01/2024: Sono stata a cena in questa osteria in coppia, in vacanza nella bellissima Asiago. Locale molto tipico di montagna, arredato in legno, con ottimo gusto ed eleganza, la sistemazione è in taverna al piano seminterrato e grazie a delle graziosissime finestre che simulavano luce naturale non si aveva assolutamente la sensazione di essere ad un piano seminterrato. Il menu è stato apprezzatissimo, antipasto di polenta radicchio e sopressa buonissimi, carbonara di speck d'anatra e stravecchio che è stata sublime (ringrazio il locale di aver permesso anche a me celiaca di gustare un primo così buono!), tagliata con patate tenerissima e ben cucinata...tutto accompagnato da dell'ottimo soave pieropan (comodissima la possibilità di prendere la bottiglia da 0,375!) ed infine il dessert, anche quello ci è piaciuto (forse l'unica nota su cui c'è ancora del margine di miglioramento ma cmq ci è piaciuto molto!).
I prezzi non sono bassi ma in linea con l'offerta, è un ristorante di qualità e ci si va se ci si vuole concedere una coccola... bravissimi!
16/12/2023: Era da tanto che volevo provare questa "osteria" in centro ad Asiago ed è arrivato il momento! Posto molto tipico, di montagna, gentilezza e disponibilità x il servizio ma soprattutto buona scelta di piatti e tutti ottimi! Bravi!

Everything very salty, spaghetti very al dente. The price is excellent but it doesn't justify the length of the lunch
04/02/2024: Excellent dishes. Fresh fish and prepared with obsessive care. Excellent roast fish. Excellent service, friendly and helpful waiter. Clean and welcoming environment. I absolutely recommend.
