07/01/2025: Post visita alla bellissima Basilica della Consolata, decidiamo di fermarci al Bacareto per la pausa pranzo. L'ambiente è molto piccolo, raccolto e, nel suo essere particolare, anche carino. Stonano molto le tovaglie fatte con carta pacco regalo tagliate anche piuttosto male. Il menù invoglia ma alla fine delude... Nel cicchetto con radicchio e soppressa domina il primo e il salume manco si sente (fettina tagliata come un'ostia). Tris di cicchetti che navigavano nell'olio... Lasagnetta scaldata al microonde: rovente fuori e gelida nel cuore. Diciamo che fin qui, la materia prima è stata maltrattata. Molto buona, invece, la zuppa ceci e vongole. Buoni i dolci proposti. La proposta dei vini è quantomeno trascurabile. Molto attento e cortese il servizio offerto dal cameriere, mentre la padrona di casa, seduta per proprio conto a un tavolo, maneggiava discutibilmente il proprio telefono con volume più che udibile... già l'ambiente è piccolo... Conto equilibrato con quanto proposto e la posizione del ristorante. Fatta quest'esperienza, non è un posto dove ritorneremo.

07/01/2025: After visiting the beautiful Consolata Basilica, we decide to stop at Bacareto for a lunch break. The environment is very small, cozy and, in its particular nature, also cute. The tablecloths made with gift wrapping paper and cut quite badly are very out of place. The menu entices but ultimately disappoints... In the cicchetto with radicchio and soppressa the first dominates and the salami is not even noticeable (slice cut like a wafer). Trio of cicchetti sailing in oil... Lasagna heated in the microwave: hot on the outside and freezing in the heart. Let's say that up to now, the raw material has been mistreated. The chickpea and clam soup, however, is very good. The desserts offered are good. The wine selection is at least negligible. The service offered by the waiter was very attentive and courteous, while the hostess, sitting on her own at a table, was questionably handling her phone at a more than audible volume... the room is already small... Balanced bill with what was proposed and the location of the restaurant. Having had this experience, it is not a place we will return to.
