22/06/2024: Needing something different to Italian, we ate there two nights in a row. The restaurant opens at 7pm , that's when we go, being the only quests when we arrive we find the service excellent. We like our food brought out slowly & that's what they did. As we dined the restaurant started to fill. First night we had vegetable spring rolls, nice & not & tasty. Sweet & sour pork, very nice. Duck with oyster sauce, The duck was lovely & tender, with no bones, the sauce very light. We did want the banana fritters but they ran out. Night 2, we ordered the spring rolls. Sho-mai, steamed & very nice. Shanghainese beef, tender beef but lacked flavour. Fried squid, tasty & very tender. Grilled shrimp, again lacked flavour. Finally they had the banana fritters, lovely & the ice cream they serve with them is devine. Coming from Australia were the chinese has flavour, we missed that. We found the prices exceptionally good.
