03/02/2025: Strepitoso cibo (tipico da baita di montagna) e servizio impeccabile. Caldo, accogliente, rapido, organizzati per i bambini, ci hanno dato bicchieri e coperto in plastica, seggiolone e perfino tovaglietta e pastelli per colorare, bravi!! Prezzi in linea, peccato che alle 13:30 c’era altra prenotazione e non abbiamo goduto appieno

Our last visit was in March 2024
This visit - in January 2025 -
We were greeted by Katya who remembered us from last season
A lovely touch and made us feel so welcome
But then she also remembered our love of Primitivo wine from previous visits
Outstanding service, attention to detail and of course great food and atmosphere
Book early - not surprisingly - they’re always busy

La Chatelaine - Pila

04/01/2025: The restaurant is in the middle of the slopes, offering magnificent views of the mountain and valley. Our tables were right on the mountain edge, offering the best scenery experienced at Gressan/Pila.
The food quality was mixed. We ordered a Suppa d’Orzo (Barley Soup) which was just amazing. The kids ordered a baguette and pizza which were bland and they didn’t like.
The service was also good, considering we went for lunch and this was a busy time of day and year.
02/01/2025: This was our first morning drink stop during our ski trip to Pila. I really loved it here as the view is stunning. We had hot chocolates, which were delicious, and a very decent cup of tea! My ‘brew with an epic view’ will be a long standing memory of a great trip to Pila. Very friendly staff made this stop a favourite.
