A historic neighborhood pastry shop. I remember going there as a child, it was run by the parents of the current pastry chef—my mother at the counter, my father in the workshop...
It's a family business, that artisanal work of yesteryear...a bit like the shop itself, which has retained the decor of days gone by that I mentioned earlier!
The selection of products is impressive, ranging from made-to-order cakes to meringues, teatime pastries, miniature pastries, and a wide variety of pastries...during the week, they make the "classic" ones, while on the weekends they make the "special" shapes, like Sicilian cannoli, Bavarian creams, fruit baskets, and my favorite, lobster tail, which I find a true specialty.
The prices are fair; Upon reopening in September 2025, the special sizes will be €3 (until July 2025, they cost €2.50), so I imagine the regular sizes will have gone from €1.50 to €2.
Regarding the lobster tail, which I definitely recommend, I suggest eating it immediately after purchase or shortly after to enjoy the maximum crunchiness, which creates a fantastic contrast with the creamy softness of the filling.
The shop is at street level and therefore accessible to people with disabilities.
The shop is open all day and closed on Mondays for weekly rest.
The owner's wife is friendly and now, with a mastery of the trade, serves at the counter.

I stumbled upon it by chance getting off the bus stop and drawn by the inviting smell coming from outside.
I was welcomed inside by a very kind lady with a counter full of wonders. The place is small, don't imagine a giant pastry shop, but it maintains the charm of other times: the counter full of delicacies, the old-fashioned furnishings, the owner at the counter who greets you and with whom you can have a chat.
The selection is very wide and for all tastes, from chocolate to cream and respects the traditional sweets, the pastries that were taken for Sunday lunch. The price then, given the size of the sweets as you can see in the photo, is scary. I paid 1.50 per piece which I find very fair.
The taste is phenomenal, we tried three different cream puffs and I have never tasted such good cream as this one here.
