On Saturday, July 12th, I came in and asked for a coffee and a croissant, only for the girl serving me to tell me they didn't have croissants, only pastries, which was a good thing. I ordered a macchiato and an apple strudel. I WOULD NEVER HAVE DONE THAT! It was served on a plate, and the portion was very generous, but once I tasted it, my mouth collapsed. I don't know if it was because it had been a long time since I'd had an apple strudel, but that was truly delicious. Congratulations again!!!

05/10/2025: My wife and I had dinner with two other friends. We had a great time with traditional South Tyrolean dishes, decorated in Tyrolean style with all homemade products. If I return to those parts, we would go there again.

04/11/2025: Currently undergoing reconstruction, photos are of the old Pforzheim Hut with lake.
01/08/2025: The refuge, closed in 2025 for renovation, can be reached from Slingia (parking lot) after about a 2.5-hour walk. It's easy, except for the last stretch below the waterfall, which is quite steep, but the road is wide and safe! The views are fantastic! And outside the refuge, there are green meadows, rocks, and very picturesque lakes. We ate there years ago, very well, but I don't know what we'll see after the renovation!
