24/10/2024: what a lovely little gem to have found during our stay in menaggio!! we stumbled upon this bar and took it as a great sign that it seemed to be filled with locals to the town. the beer and wine was great, and the pizza was just what we needed after a long day of travelling to get to menaggio. the only issue we had was a slight language barrier with our waitress, who maybe wasn’t used to seeing many tourists pop up in her bar, but we didn’t fault her for it at all - instead ourselves for not learning more italian!! the experience felt so very authentic and warm, we got chatting to some locals who had lived in the town for decades. such a welcoming and unassuming little bar in a beautiful town.
