Posto spartano e molto genuino cucina ottima e trattoria stile famiglia domenicale . Cibo buono e personale simpatico e accogliente prezzi buoni da rifare magari con un bel panino con la porchetta locale .

And the tiramisu. There is no table service, but they will bring the pasta you order to you. The condiments are near the register (mayonnaise for the chicken). Also remember to season the vegetables. No dish costs more than 10 euros. Ahhh, despite what the sign attached to the outside wall says, they are only open for lunch. And leave a tip at the register for the team working in the kitchen, they will be grateful for it "chorally". Finally, if you clear the table, Mauro will offer you the coffee. Zio a Maccarese è una Istituzione, posto comodo, spartano, si mangia bene e si spende poco. NON è un Ristorante ma si mangia di tutto primi, secondi, contorni, dolci, tutto ben fatto. Io non rinuncio mai alla Porchetta, sempre fresca perchè ne vende tanta, vino alla mescita della cantina locale "Torre in pietra" più che godibile. Un posto che consiglio, meglio di tante Trattorie ma più simpatico, più comodo, più scelta e piatti ottimi. Prezzi assolutamente vantaggiosi.
