A diner along the road to Fregene, with no service whatsoever, and everything self-service. The food is average. I recommend it if you're passing through, perhaps during the workday or on your way to the beach. Reasonable prices, but no set menu (e.g., first course, second course, and side dish).

Posto spartano e molto genuino cucina ottima e trattoria stile famiglia domenicale . Cibo buono e personale simpatico e accogliente prezzi buoni da rifare magari con un bel panino con la porchetta locale .

Zio a Maccarese è una Istituzione, posto comodo, spartano, si mangia bene e si spende poco. NON è un Ristorante ma si mangia di tutto primi, secondi, contorni, dolci, tutto ben fatto. Io non rinuncio mai alla Porchetta, sempre fresca perchè ne vende tanta, vino alla mescita della cantina locale "Torre in pietra" più che godibile. Un posto che consiglio, meglio di tante Trattorie ma più simpatico, più comodo, più scelta e piatti ottimi. Prezzi assolutamente vantaggiosi.
