Zi' Teresa In Montescudo

The "Zi Teresa" restaurant, open for over fifty years, is located in Montescudo, a small village nestled in the Rimini hills. It is a trattoria offering traditional Romagna cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere, within a spacious and well-organized space. Personal note: I particularly appreciated the round table, always convenient for conviviality. The menu is varied and suitable for all palates, with excellent options for vegans and vegetarians. The menu includes: - Traditional appetizers: cold cuts, cheeses, crostini, and other local specialties - Homemade first courses: strozzapreti, passatelli, tortelli, tagliatelle, gnocchi, and ravioli - Meat-based main courses: various types and preparations - Side dishes: vegetables cooked in various ways - Desserts: a wide selection of classics (such as zuppa inglese and panna cotta) as well as more original and sophisticated options The space is spacious, well-ventilated, and well-lit, with a low noise level. The staff stands out for their kindness, helpfulness, and family-like approach. The dishes are served courteously and in generous portions. The price is reasonable, especially considering the quality and provenance of the products. Among the most positive aspects are the homemade dishes and the use of ingredients sourced from local farms and wineries; some products are even produced on-site. Allergens (gluten, soy, lactose, frozen products, etc.) are also clearly indicated on the menu. We sampled appetizers, first courses, vegetables, meat, and desserts (see photo). The first courses were very good and delicate, the vegetables and desserts were truly excellent, but the meat was unimpressive. Taking all factors into account, my overall rating is 7.5/10.

Super cute, family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere and abundant and delicious food!

It's like going to our grandparents' house. A welcoming, warm atmosphere and people with heart and soul. We'll bring our granddaughters... because for them, tagliatelle, only at Aunt Teresa's.

Typical Romagna cuisine, all good, honest prices

I had been there a few years ago and had a fairly good time, so much so that I returned... Unfortunately, I have to say that I didn't have the same experience. The dinner was neither good nor bad; in a place like this, you expect everything to be strictly homemade. I don't see why they would include frozen and fried products in the appetizers, which, by the way, have nothing to do with the area but are more suited to a McDonald's box, paired with excellent cured meats and vegetables from the garden... vegetarian appetizers that are the same as normal appetizers but without cured meats... a grilled vegetable main course that costs as much as a fillet... a very confusing cuisine concept. Very good meat, very good cured meats, very good cheeses, decent first courses... I would start from there and remove anything that has nothing to do with the area or the type of place. The prices... decidedly high for what they offer. For 4 of us without eating who knows what (2 starters, 2 first courses, 2 second courses (roast) with side dishes, a dessert and only water) 140 euros... too much, it was a dinner for 20/25 euros per person maximum.

A small restaurant in the heart of Valliano, in the hills just behind Rimini, with both an outdoor and indoor dining area... I'd say the cuisine is entirely homemade and very good, with kind and friendly staff... Prices are in line with the food, so I recommend it...

The food is good, the dishes are plentiful, the staff is courteous, the only negative aspect is the noise level.
