Highly recommended! Beautiful place, friendly and efficient service, and delicious food! Dishes are presented like works of art; great care has been put into the food, and it tastes exquisite! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

The leek dumplings with fresh chanterelles and salad were both delicious and presented with great attention to detail! Bravo👏🏻! The goat cheese salad was equally delicious. If the cheese had been a bit warmer, it would have earned 5 out of 5 stars. All the best to the entire team😀👋🏻

Ice cream parlor in St. Leonhard. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. A bit noisy because the restaurant is right on the main road, but still bearable.

Nice cafe in middle of town - we stopped for a quick lunch during a cycling tour. Kids both had tuna baguettes which were tasty and filling. I had bruschetta with courgette and tomatos. Wife had an enormous slice of Apfelstrudel, which was delicious but which she needed help to finish - the kids happily obliged! Friendly and speedy service, nice terrace outside.

Gasthof Gampenpass

05/10/2025: We first visited "Zum Hirschen" in the spring and were drawn back in the fall. Stunning natural surroundings, the food, we thought, was exceptionally good, beautiful, clean, modern rooms, relaxing in the sauna, and hospitality combined with sustainability...what more could you want? We'd love to come back.
22/06/2025: The service was great, and the 5-course breakfast was a nice surprise. We also liked the wellness area. We were lucky and were able to use two of the four spaces on the day of arrival, which meant we could use the sauna. The older room in the hotel, which we were assigned based on our special offer, was functional. Only the electrical appliances (hairdryer) should be checked for safety. 😅 Otherwise, everything was perfect! The place is quite remote on the mountain. Probably a perfect starting point for hikes. We were mostly in Merano and didn't explore the surrounding area.

05/10/2025: A very beautiful alpine hut with everything you could need. Easily accessible from the Falzleben parking lot.
24/09/2025: The outdoor seating is very pleasant, while the interior is very rustic and smells a bit damp. At first, the landlady seemed a bit harsh, but then she became friendly. The food came very quickly, but we were the only guests. The Kaiserschmarren (smothered pancakes) was a bit too much like egg pancakes for me, but otherwise delicious. The bacon and cheese board were delicious, and the bread was generously sized with caraway seeds. Unfortunately, there was no hot chocolate available. I like that they also offer seasonal produce from time to time.
