I would have given it 5/5 if it weren't for the constant menu changes, which unfortunately make the experience inconsistent over time. I've always been loyal to a specific 64-piece sushi combo with a bottle of wine (Charme Bianco). Initially, the bottle was replaced with a lower-quality one, then—perhaps due to poor reception—the offer was reinstated. Subsequently, a €2 cover charge was added, and finally, the combo was permanently removed from the menu. It's truly a shame, because the quality of the sushi is excellent and the staff is always impeccable, helpful, and kind. I hope that in the future, a better balance will be found on the menu and that the offer will be available again.

They make the best poke in Palermo. I've eaten it both on-site and through Deliveroo, and the flavor hasn't changed at all. Always super seasoned.

Going to Zanga Sushi is like being at home. The sushi is excellent quality and variety, but the real highlight is Anna, whose cheerfulness and welcoming nature make the place feel like home. Highly recommended!!! We'll be back again and again.

13/08/2025: We were celebrating a bachelorette party and couldn't have chosen a better place. The staff was incredibly kind and the sushi was excellent, with small, inviting pieces. The place is beautiful and clean, and among the sushi restaurants in Palermo, it's one of the best I've ever tried!

Gohan Ristorante Giapponese

11/01/2026: I've been there twice: this week and last summer. Last time, the fish was good, but some pieces were greasy and hard to chew. However, I tried the chicken bao and it was very good. There was a strong smell of disinfectant. This time, however, the smell was milder, but still present. I'm not a fan of raw fish, but the first thing I tried was a nigiri. It tasted like cheese, as if a spoonful of Parmesan had fallen under the fish. Honestly, I didn't want to try anything else (raw), but there were about ten of us. I was the only one who noticed this problem (and my boyfriend too when I pointed it out to him), and everyone ate a lot. And we're all alive, for now. So, I don't know.
03/01/2026: I thought all Gohan's were the same, both in terms of food and service, but this time I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the sushi. I've eaten much better at Gohan's on the forum 🤩
